Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure Review!

I was so excited to receive the Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure set in the post yesterday!  I couldn’t wait to get home from work and try it out! I have the ‘Kaleidoscope Klash’ set, described as ‘A manicure kit for creating a raw foil finish with a mirror-like shine that goes beyond a regular metallic polish for an edgy runway look.’ This set has a mint coloured nail polish, and red, pink, gold, blue, and two different silver metallic and holographic foils. There are two further sets with different polishes and foils.

What’s in the box: Ciate Paint Pot in ‘Pepperminty’, Foil Fix glue, 30x Colourfoil sheets, Nail wheel for practicing and instructions.

The idea is pretty straightforward, you paint your nails with two coats of nail polish,

I love this colour!

Then you apply the glue where you want the foil to stick, wait a minute for the glue to become tacky, then press on one of the foil sheets,

You then rip the sheet off like a plaster, and hey presto, shiny foil nails!

You can then repeat this as much as you like with the different coloured foils, I went for pink and silver.

What I like about it is that you don’t know how the nail will look until you rip the foil off! So I  thought I’d add some red too!

I absolutely love this, I can’t wait to try out different looks with different base colours!

What do you think? xx

I love this nail look. The blue undercoat is such a gorgeous colour! I had never tried Ciaté nail polishes before last weekend. My friend sent me the velvet manicure for my birthday and I love the purple colour of that too, plus they last ages. I would love to try the kit you used, such a great effect! Thanks for sharing 🙂
