I won’t show all the pictures again of the packaging, if you want to check them out please see my previous post 🙂
Nude is described as a cool nude cream colour with a matte finish, and costs £16.50.
I found the colour was a fair bit darker than I was expecting, the matte finish was comfortable to apply and wear, it was slightly drying (as expected) but no where near as bad as Talk That Talk was. I’m not sure if this is to do with the pigmentation or the formula of the different lipsticks.
You can see the colour is much more even than Talk That Talk. I tested this lipstick straight after Talk That Talk so my lips were in the same condition, this one definitely looked and felt better.
Was it worth £16.50 though? To be honest I’m not sure. I love matte lipsticks and my favourite of all time so far is Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, it’s the perfect red, long lasting, doesn’t dry my lips and at £17.50 it’s only £1 more than these MAC Matte lipsticks. I did prefer MAC’s Nude lipstick over Talk That Talk definitely, but next time I’m looking for a matte shade, I’m going back to Nars I’m afraid.
I hope you enjoyed my review! Have you tried any of these products? I’d love to hear your thoughts! xxx
