Today’s review is of MAC Tenderling Sheertone *Blush from SMP Boutique. Now I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit scared of blush. Ask me to do precision eyeliner any day, but when it comes to blush I’m definitely not as confident. The application alone can be a minefield! Too much and you could end up looking like a clown, too little, or even get the wrong shade for your colouring and you could look washed out or ill. There is definitely an art to perfecting the correct application of blush for your face shape, as well as making sure you choose the right shade.
Tenderling is described as a sheer matte nude pink, but it has more of a warm peachy pink tone to it. I think it actually looks a bit dull and uninspiring in the pan, but it does give a lovely warm glow and is fantastic for fair complexions like me!
Overall I’m really impressed with this blush, as this is a light shade with warming tones it’s perfect for my fair skin tone. Tenderling would make a great every day blush for adding a hint of colour.
The lovely guys at SMP Boutique also sent me this Lancôme Petit Precision Cheek brush, which I have been using to apply the blush. This is a handy little brush as it fits nicely in my makeup bag, unlike my other larger brushes! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed my review 🙂 xx
