I know it’s about a month late, but I’ve finally gotten round to photographing December’s Astrid & Miyu Secret Box – better late than never hey! If you’ve never heard of Astrid & Miyu, they are a jewellery company who offer a quarterly subscription box – you can check out more details from my previous box reviews here and here.
In Decembers box I received some lovely cards with recipes for plum jam and chocolate chunk pecan cookies – I’ve posted the cookie one below in case you’d liike to try it 🙂
And as a couple of extra Christmassy gifts I received an awesome Jelly Pong Pong eye pencil in Bronze (worth £10.50) and a lovely chocolate (which I ate without thinking so there’s no picture, sorry!)
This Eyeliner and Shadow pencil is in a warm metallic brown, it’s very soft and doesn’t drag the skin at all. This was a lovely unexpected extra gift!
And so onto the jewellery! My first item was the Charm It in Deep Forest bracelet (£19) This is a really dainty and sweet dark green cotton bracelet with a gold tone and diamante encrusted bead. I love this bracelet because it’s so small and pretty, you could easily wear it every day.
Next up was the Anna Karenina Red Necklace (£39) This is a fabulously large statement necklace, with red, orange and clear gem stones.
Lastly I received the Rosy Rock Skull Earrings (£39) I’m really pleased I got these as I received the matching ring in a previous box. The earrings are rose gold coloured which I love, and they are very high quality. This is definitely my favourite item!
So the total value of my box was £97 plus the extra gifts, so it came to well over £100 which I think is a pretty good deal! I love the skull earrings and the bracelet, I’m not overly keen on the necklace but I’ll give it a chance and it’ll hopefully grow on me!
If you subscribe before March 2nd, make sure you add my name – Michelle Kenyon – in the referrers box on your survey, and we will both receive a £5 voucher!
I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
