Today I’m really excited to show you my new makeup brush set from Catwalk Glamour! I’ve never actually owned a proper brush set before, I’ve just had odd brushes that I’ve picked up here and there so this is a first for me!
The L’ensemble Noir Essential Professional Makeup Brush Set includes ten brushes in a glossy croc effect case. The brushes are made from the highest quality synthetic fibres and it’s interesting to know that catwalk Glamour’s manufactures produce makeup brushes for some of the biggest and most well known luxury brand names (They name no names though unfortunately!)
The set arrived in a shiny crocodile finish zip case.
Inside, the brushes are secured in place in their own individual pockets, and the larger brushes on the left also have protective plastic casings.
‘With an array of face brushes out there its always difficult to choose ones based on quality, longevity and price. We promise to bring you the best of all the worlds with our 10 piece synthetic brush set. With soft brush hairs, a sturdy ferrule, professional long handles and the right amount of density – these tools will tick all the boxes in your list whether you’re a makeup artist or a just a passionate beauty enthusiast. The dark black tinge on the edges of the brushes makes them easier to clean and resistant to staining when in contact with pigmented makeup products. The synthetic brush hairs do not absorb liquid formulas as much as natural brush hairs, giving you more use out of your products and a seamless, soft focus finish. If you’re looking for cruelty free, vegan makeup brushes – you’ll love this selection.’
The first four brushes are the largest, here we have –
- Powder brush
- Blush brush
- Contour brush
- Foundation brush
And the next six brushes are –
- Blending brush
- Eye shadow brush
- Small eye shadow brush
- Angle eyebrow brush
- Lip brush
- Eyebrow comb
Priced at £100 the set is pretty expensive, working out to be £10 per brush. Saying that though I don’t think it’s too bad considering they are professional quality. You’re looking at around £16.50 up to about £40 for MAC brushes, so to buy a full set of these would cost a small fortune!
So far I’ve used the foundation, blush and eyeshadow brush, and I’m very impressed! My other brushes are mostly MAC with a few odds in there including Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown, so they’re all well known brands, and I definitely think these brushes are on a par with them!
Where do your makeup brushes come from? I’d love to hear if you have a favourite set! xxx
