I’ve just had the most awesome crazy busy weekend! Including lots of travelling, a trip to London, and a visit to LUSH for a blogger party! I was so excited to attend the LUSH blogger event at their Norwich store on Firday afternoon – I’ve been waiting for ages for them to announce they were going to hold an event so I was really looking forward to it! Apart from that I was going with Laura from LauraJaneStyle and meeting up with Dee from DeesBeautifulLife, it’s always good to hang out with the girls! So, the idea of the event was to show us all some brand new LUSH products…
First up we have the May Day Bath Bomb. This awesome product contains fennel oil to stimulate your skin, and antiseptic rosewood oil to soothe and uplift. It has a lovely sweet, sherberty fragrance. Also, for every one of these bath bombs that’s sold, all the proceeds (minus the VAT) will go towards anti-badger cull projects in the UK. (There’s also a surprise in the centre, I won’t tell you what it is though!)
And my personal favourite – the Granny Takes a Dip Bath Bomb. ‘This ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath bomb turns your water psychedelic and puts some colour in your life. Simply drop into a warm bath and watch as its fizzing centre dissolves into multi-coloured waters. Its spicy, citrusy scent will pep you up: lemon oil boosts the mood, while ginger and pepper are warming.’
Magnificent Soap was also another of the new products. ‘Feel totally tropical with this fabulously fruity hand and body soap. Packed full of skin cleansing dried mango, zingy Sicilian lemon oil, mandarin oil and serotonin increasing neroli – you’ll be ready for a Week-End In Havana in no time.’
We also had the chance to make our own Comforter bubble bar which was so much fun! There’s definitely an art to twisting this bad boy! I was pretty impressed with mine!!
As I was one of the first ten bloggers to confirm attendance, I also received a lovely goodie bag (aww thanks LUSH!) Inside was a Think Pink Bath Bomb, a Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub and a catalogue and some information cards. (You can also see my The Comforter packaged up, and a Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask sample I received in store)
We all had such a lovely afternoon, thanks so much Lush Norwich! 🙂 Dee then went off with her lovely mummy for pizza, so Laura and I had a quick look round the shops before stopping for a well deserved brew and cake!
Reviews will be coming up shortly… I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
