Mystical Cats Outer Space Outfit feat Spiral Bags
1 October, 2014Hi Guys!
I thought I’d put a little look together today to show you some of my favourite outfit type things at the moment! 🙂 As much as I am starting to embrace more autumnal hues, I still can’t get enough of brights, holos and crazy prints, so, first up has to be my Mystical Cat Dress from ASOS. HOW AWESOME IS THIS? I was originally looking for something to wear to the Bloggers Love event, and literally had no idea what I wanted when I stumbled upon this amazing cat print dress in the ASOS sale. It was reduced from £22 to £15, and clearly it was made for me, so I thought it was worth a punt! When it arrived I fell in love! It’s just a simple stretchy body-con style dress but I just loved the print so much, mystical cats should be compulsory for everybody. The only thing I found though was the neck was a bit low and there was way too much boob on display, so I got my good old mum to adjust it for me, yay!
To add to the galaxy theme – there can never be enough galaxy – I teamed my frock with an awesome Galaxy Saturn Backpack* from Spiral Bags. If you haven’t heard of Spiral they are pretty new to the accessories market, offering some awesome alternative print bags. My favourite has to be galaxy (obv), which comes in a variety of colours. Spiral have other styles of bags and a few more accessories too so make sure you take a look at their site if that’s your kinda thing!
To accessorise, what would an outfit of mine be without a holographic shoe?? The erm, fifth pair of holo shoes to my collection are the New Look Koinery Irredescent Flats, again from ASOS. These babies were only £12.99 (plus I had a 10% off code too, bonus!) and are super comfy to wear. I love nothing more than wearing them in the sunshine to dazzle and blind passers by… ha ha!
For jewellery I went with my Cooee neon green Nut Cuff. Cooee are a brand I discovered a few years ago, they’re a Scandanavian company that offer amazing luxe perspex jewellery – check out their site and you’ll see what I mean 🙂
I’d added nail polishes in I’m Addicted (turquoise) and Sittin’ Pretty (purple) by Essie, and Sun Hat (pink) by Models Own to complement the look. The spiky necklace, headband and bracelet, all pretty old and from Topshop.
Ok I know some people might think this look is a bit much, but it really is my style to a T! I’m a firm believer that fashion should be fun, and should be experimented with!
As ever, lemme know what you think – do you like? Or is this just toooo much galaxy for you?? 😉 xxx
