Delilah Cosmetics Foundation & Lipstick | Review
22 October, 2014Wel Helloooooo,
If you’re a regular reader – which I hope you are – you probably saw I posted the other week about a brand new luxury cosmetic brand, Delilah. Well I now have a couple of their gorgeous products to try out! And they. Are. Gorgeous…
First up is the Time Frame Future Resist Foundation in Shell, £36.00.
Time Frame is a fluid foundation that blends perfectly with the skin, leaving an effortlessly flawless finish. The light, buildable coverage has a subtle luminosity and a velvety texture. Vitamins A and E work as powerful antioxidants to prevent against environmental damage while a blend of peptides helps to prevent signs of ageing. Time Frame contains a broad spectrum SPF 20 for everyday protection.
The Time Frame foundation comes in a tube with a pump – I do love a foundation with a pump to cut down on mess and spillages, and the shiny rose gold lid really makes the packaging look high quality. The foundation itself is medium coverage and has a lovely satiny finish. The colour I have is Shell, which is slightly darker than my skin tone and gives me a hint of colour that my dull skin really lacks at the moment. I’m so impressed with this foundation, it gives a gorgeous natural glowy finish that lasts all day.
And now onto the lipstick!
Colour Intense Cream Lipstick in Grace £24.00.
Colour Intense is a luxurious lipstick formulated to provide a soft, creamy feel with a silky matte effect. It is enriched with spherical polymers that provide a velvety feeling for easy glide-on application and vitamin E as a powerful antioxidant. Colour Intense melts onto your lips that lasts for hours.
The Colour Intense Cream Lipstick comes in a gorgeous cylindrical pewter case with a matte finish. You can clearly see the Delilah logo in shiny rose gold, and on the inside the lipstick housing is also rose gold. I’ve gotta say this is some of the chicest packaging I’ve ever seen!
The lipstick itself has the Delilah logo imprinted in the bullet – for some reason my lipstick has a nick out of the point though, please disregard this as it shouldn’t look like that! This lipstick in Grace is a pretty, easy to wear clean mid-tone pink. It has such a gorgeous creamy formula that gives a beautiful satin finish.
I know they’re expensive but I can’t tell you enough how much I’m in love with both of these products, I think Delilah is definitely going to be a beauty brand to watch this season!
I’d love to hear your thoughts? I hope you enjoyed my review xx
