Festive Beauty With The Body Shop
19 December, 2017Hi Guys!
I have a few fab makeup products to share with you today from The Body Shop – their Christmas selection has been just fantastic this year, and they currently have 40% off, so its the perfect time to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts!
If you get a moment, also be sure to check out their Beauty Advent Calendar to find a new festive surprise every day until Christmas – discover everything from seasonal bath and body specials to reviews from fabulous beauty bloggers, including me! Ok so let’s take a look at the products…
Firstly I have the gorgeous House of Holland We Rule The World Eyeshadow Palette (£12.00) – The Body Shop have teamed up with House of Holland this Christmas, to offer festive collection of limited edition fun and colourful products, including makeup, skincare and gift sets (Just search ‘HOH’ on the Body Shop site to see everything that’s currently available) I have one of two HOH Palettes – the We Rule The World Palette includes three vibrant eye shadows in matte and shimmer finishes, one lip colour and a highlighter. This palette in particular is just what you need for getting party ready as it includes a deep blue toned grey eyeshadow, perfect for a smokey eye, and a gorgeous bright pink lip colour.
For those that prefer a cream eye colour, the Eye Colour Sticks (£8.00) are definitely worth checking out. Offering high definition metallic eyeshadow in an easy to apply stick form, these eyeshadows are perfect for those that favour an easy swipe of colour, that’s intense, long lasting and waterproof. I have shades Siberian Quartz, which is a gorgeous deep plum purple shade with a metallic shimmer, and Nevada Gold, which is a muted gold shade, again with a striking metallic finish.
Another product which is quite interesting, is the Instamatte Cream (£12.00) – this handy little product is the perfect multi-use tool to create a matte finish anywhere you need it. You can use this on your bare face before foundation, to act as a mattifying primer, or you can use it after foundation if that works better for you. It can also be used on top of your lipstick to give a matte finish, or as an eyeshadow primer to prolong wear. This is such a handy product to keep in your bag for when you’re on the go and need to absorbs excess oil and mattify on demand.
And lastly I have the gorgeous Glitter Dust (£7.00) – Christmas time is all about colour, shimmer and shine, and I just love adding glitter to pretty much every makeup look! The Body Shop’s Glitter Dust comes in two sparkling shades, Pink and Gold, and can be used on cheeks, décolletage and hair to give you a wonderful shimmering sparkle day or night. I love this pretty pink shade and can’t wait to wear it on my next night out!
I’d love to hear if you wear The Body Shop makeup? And which products you’d recommend? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
