Hi Guys!

So here is my weekly Weight Loss Wednesday update. As of last Sunday evening I was officially 11 stone 3 pounds, meaning I’d put on 1 stone 10 pounds since my wedding which was mid September, OOOPS!!! I weighed myself on Sunday just gone (one week later) and I’m really not surprised that I’ve put on another pound. I knew I hadn’t done very well at all this week, my will power seemed to go out the window around Thursday and I ate some very bad things from then onwards 🙁

I’ve dieted before, and I know when I get ‘in the zone’ I can be strict and be really successful. But at the moment I’m not really sure what’s happened, I guess I’m not really feeling it unfortunately. I need to get myself into the right frame of mind to do this, and I’m just not there yet.

I had planned today, to tell you all about my diet, what I was and wasn’t eating, and about my exercise plan. I can’t really do that now as it’s all gone a bit wrong! I will though, tell you my plan going forward. So here goes –

It’s very simple. I think to start with, I’m just going to try and be more relaxed about the whole thing and try to make better choices with what I eat, rather than go on a ‘diet’ and stress myself out about it! Watch this space!

Ok so what did I think?

Well to start with I made the mistake of forgetting to buy juice, I thought this isn’t a problem I’ll just drink it with water. Bad idea! This stuff tastes terrible just in water, if you want to try it definitely make sure you add it to juice!

I had a weeks’ trial and can’t say I actually noticed any difference for taking it I’m afraid. I have no doubt that it has a lot of beneficial ingredients and has done me some good, but I can’t say I physically felt any different. I’d love to hear if you’ve tried this and if you felt a difference?

Weight Loss Wednesday

So today is officially the start of Weight Loss Wednesday!

I’ve decided enough is enough, I’ve put on A LOT of weight over the last few months and I really need to start doing something about it, so I’ve joined up with Weight Loss Wednesday! I’ve just started my diet on Monday, and my aim is to post every Wednesday with updates, inspiration and any other diet and exercise related stuff that’s going on with me at the time. Hopefully by reading everybody elses posts, and by joining in the Twitter chat, we will help motivate each other to achieve our goals. So, in the last few months I’ve put on a LOT of weight, I know I’ve put this weight on due to depression and comfort eating – I’m not like ‘OMG how on earth did I put so much weight on!?’ I’m completely aware I’ve been eating absolutely everything I could get my grubby little mitts on. The start of the new year has inspired me and I now finally feel like I’m ready to do something about it! 🙂

So my plan is actually quite a simple one. I’m eating healthily, I’ve completely cut out the junk which I’ve been gorging on over the last few months, and I’ll be doing light exercise for half an hour every day after the first week – I’m leaving it a week as I think I need to get used to the change of diet before jumping into exercise that I’m not used to. Easy, right??? My aim is to lose 2 stones which I hope to do by my birthday (my 30th birthday!) which is mid June. This may be a bit optimistic but I’ll see how it goes! I’ll explain in more detail about my diet and exercise plan over the coming weeks.

I’ll be taking my measurements – bust, waist and hips, and my weight once a week and I’ll be reporting the results here on Wednesdays.
