Fragrance: Marc Jacobs Limited Edition Daisy Kiss Collection

Posted on March 20, 2017

Hi Guys!

If you follow me on Insta Stories you may have seen that the new collection of Marc Jacbos Daisy fragrances landed at TSNC HQ recently. I’ve been trying them out ever since and I’m now ready to tell you all about them…

The new Daisy Kiss collection contains three fragrances – Daisy Kiss, Daisy Dream Kiss and Daisy Eau So Fresh Kiss. The collection is inspired by the vivid bursts of colour in Marc Jacobs Resort fashion collections, and this fragrance collection promises to be vibrant, bold and striking. Let’s take a look at each scent –

First up, we have the new Daisy Kiss EDT (£54.00 at Feelunique) – I’m a big fan of the way Marc Jacobs styles his bottles, and this fragrance really does smell as good as it looks. The bottle is presented in typical ‘Daisy’ style with a fun rubberised cutout flower detail, and in terms of colour, Marc Jacobs has gone for a graduating shocking pink, which I think complements the collection perfectly.

Daisy Kiss EDT is described as an uplifting fragrance with floral and fruity notes, opening with a juicy burst of Pomelo Nectar mixed with hints of Peony and Rose and a bright and notes of Creamy Cedarwood, Ambrox and Musk at the base, for a warm drydown.

This fragrance really is everything you’d expect – it’s fun, playful and flirty, as well as being youthful and easy to wear on a daily basis.

  • Top Notes: Valentine Pomelo, Apricot Nectar, Dewy Violet.
  • Heart Notes: Osmanthus Flower, White Peony, Pink Rose.
  • Base Notes: Creamy Cedarwood, Ambrox, Musk.

Next is Daisy Dream Kiss EDT (£54.00 at Feelunique) – with the same colouring throughout the collection, this bottle has the distinctive Marc Jacobs spherical mirrored flower lid, as well as a different shaped flanker to the original, so it’s easy to distinguish between them.

Described as being vibrant and bright, Daisy Dream Kiss is a luminous fragrance of luscious fruit notes and sun-drenched florals. Bright and playful, notes of Pink Grapefruit and Juicy Pineapple mingle with a range of fresh florals at the heart, and Cedarwood, Musk and Ambrox at the base creates a sensual and lingering drydown.

This fragrance is very similar to Daisy Dream above, but noticeably has different top notes, giving a much more juicy and fruity opening. The dry down however is very similar to Daisy Dream, so I would definitely recommend trying them both to decide which you prefer.

  • Top Notes: Black Currant, Pink Grapefruit, Juicy Pineapple.
  • Heart Notes: White Freesia, Jasmine Petals, Tart Raspberry.
  • Base Notes: Cedarwood, Skin Musk, Ambrox.

And lastly Daisy Eau So Fresh Kiss EDT (£64.00 at Feelunique) – this bottle is taller and larger than the others (75ml compared to 50ml for the above fragrances) and the scent is noticeably different to the above two.

Daisy Eau So Fresh kiss is definitely a light and radiant fragrance, opening with Mandarin Leaves, Cassis and Pink Pepper, leading to a vibrant blend of Peony, Cherry Blossom and Rose Petals, while notes of sensual White Wood and Sandalwood round out the base. It’s the lightest of the three scents, and if you tend to go for floral feminine scents, this could be perfect for you.

  • Top Notes: Mandarin Leaves, Cassis, Pink Pepper.
  • Heart Notes: Sheer Peony, Cherry Blossom Petals, Pink Rose.
  • Base Notes: White Wood, Sandalwood, Ambrox.

If you’re a fan of Marc Jacobs scents, then you should definitely check this collection out, as the new Daisy Kiss range really is so pretty and wearable for the coming summer. The new Marc Jacobs Daisy Kiss fragrance collection is available now at Boots and Feelunique.

Valentine’s Gift Guide for Her

Posted on February 9, 2017

Hi Guys!

Valentine’s day is almost upon us, and this is the first of three gift guides I have for you – the others will be coming up either later today or tomorrow morning. This gift guide is ‘for her’ and I’ve included loads of gorgeous bits and pieces that pretty much anyone would be happy to receive. There’s gift items in here, chocolates, alcohol, makeup and fragrance. I hope you enjoy!

I have to start this guide with one of my favourite recent fragrance launches – Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Intense EDP (£61.00 for 50ml at Boots) – Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique fragrance really is a ‘classic’ – it was one of my very first, and favourite scents many years ago, and this this brand new intense version is just stunning. It’s very similar to the original, but heavier and more sensual. I know for a fact that fans of the original Classique will love this.

  • Top Notes: Pomegranate, Tiare Flower.
  • Heart Notes: Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Rose.
  • Base Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla.

Another new fragrance which is perfect for Valentine’s day is Agent Provocateur Pure Aphrodisiaque (£51.50 for 40ml at The Fragrance Shop) This is a romantic, floral fruity and musky scent. I was actually expecting something a lot heavier, but this is quite light and flirty, yet still very feminine and seductive. There are a few different gift set options available for this fragrance too which are perfect for Valentine’s day.

  • Top Notes: Mandarin, Anjou Pear and Rum.
  • Heart Notes: Jasmine, Wild Orchid and Indian Sambac.
  • Base Notes: Woods, Skin Musk and Amber Creme.

And lastly for fragrances I have Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely EDT (£11.00 for 30ml at Debenhams) which is a great option for those on a budget. The inspiration behind Sarah Jessica Parker’s first scent ‘Lovely’ was her love of layering scents. What became of this inspiration is a feminine and timeless signature scent for woman of all ages.

  • Top Notes: Bergamot, Lavender and Apple Martini.
  • Heart Notes: Patchoile, Paperwhites and Creamy Orchid.
  • Base Notes: Cedarwood, White amber, Sultry Woods and Musk.

On the subject of good deals, I also wanted to include the Skinchemists Rose Quartz Youth Facial Oil (£99.00 at Skinchemists) as this is currently on offer for £24.00, plus I have a discount code, so if you input TSNCBLOG at the checkout it will bring this down to £19.99 – what a bargain!

Skinchemists Youth Facial Oil is infused with a blend of hydrating, nourishing and protecting actives, to provide essential vitamins and minerals for the skin to leave the complexion illuminated, hydrated and refined. It contains Rose Otto Oil to help restore the moisture balance in the skin, Vitamin E to reduce skin damage, and Almond Oil to provide deep hydration and nourishment. The perfect product for increasing skin radiance, just 2-3 drops of this wonder oil are needed to cover the face and neck.

And what would valentine’s day be without a little tipple? Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin Tin (£19.50 at Drink Finder) is a great choice for Valentine’s day as it tastes amazing, and it’s also pink! This gin is best served over ice and with a splash of tonic or ginger ale, to enjoy authentic British craft at its best.

And I had to include the Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip in ASOS Nude (£16.00 exclusively at ASOS) – this liquid lipstick has literally just arrived and I have to say I think I’m in love! Beauty Bakerie have two exclusive ASOS shades, one in Red and one Nude, and they dry down to a lovely matte finish that literally won’t budge all day.

Moving on to jewellery, I have these super pretty Vamp London Silver Spike Earrings (£55.00 at Browns Family Jewellers) which are Inspired by the Gothic architecture of Venice. They are from the Hidden Mask Collection, which is very 50 Shades-esque. It’s all about glamorous decadent parties, hushed whispers and intimate encounters. Considering these earrings are only £55.00, I think they’re incredibly pretty and delicate, and would make a wonderful gift.

Hopefully you can see at the back right hand side of the table, there is what looks to be a box of biscuits. But this is in fact Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Chocolates (£9.95 at Prezzybox) – these chocolates look exactly like some of your favourite biscuits. There’s jammy dodger in there, a pink wafer, and a party ring to name a few – but they’re all made of dark, milk and white belgian chocolate!

The NARS True Story Set (£35.00 exclusively at ASOS) is a stunning palette of four limited edition blushes in shades: Devotee, Myth, Unwritten, Outlaw. It also includes a Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in shade Mysterious Red, which is the perfect colour for a true red lip.

I’ve also recently been trying out some of the new Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet Lipsticks, and I’ve really been enjoying their super thick and creamy formula. I won’t go onto too much detail as I’ve already posted about them – but you can see my original review here.

For the person that has everything, what about this super sweet Silver Love Heart Trinket (£14.95 at Prezzybox) – this is an exact replica of a love heart sweet – the same size and everything, with a lovely silver plated finish. It’s a cute little keepsake gift to show someone how much you care.

This little Heart Trinket Dish (£6.95 at Prezzybox) is another fantastic bargain gift. It’s small enough to hold in the palm of your hand, and just the right size to keep small jewellery items like rings and bracelets together. The ‘Love You to the Moon and Back’ quote is a lovely touch for Valentine’s day.

Another stunning jewellery item is this Milan City Bracelet Stack (£155.00 at Annie Haak) – this super dainty stack of five sterling silver bracelets has a selection of tiny charms hanging from them, and can also be customised with an initial of your choice.

For something fun, what about this Red Face Purse (£15.00 at Emma Lomax) – this cute little fabric purse is adorned with striking lips and eyelashes, and comes in either red or pink. It’s also just the right size for carrying your cards and change.

I also wanted to include this Napoli Red Leather Journal (£32.99 at Pen Heaven) perfect for those that like to keep a written journal, or for someone that’s always writing down notes, this handmade leather jour name features a wrap-round cover, traditional gilded pages, and a heart symbol has been embossed in gold leaf in the bottom right corner, making it an ideal romantic gift.

And lastly of course, the amazing Love Carnival Light (£27.50 from Find Me a Gift) – this would make such a fun and unusual gift for someone who’s into home accessories. I love how the bright red stands out so much, and I think this is going to end up living in my conservatory 🙂

So there we have it! I hope this has given you some inspiration whether you’re buying or hoping to receive this Valentine’s day. Please also keep your eye out for my next two gift guide posts which will be coming up very soon.

Fragrance: Penhaligon’s Portraits Collection Chapter 2 – Clandestine Clara

Posted on February 8, 2017

Hi Guys!

Just before Christmas I went on a wonderful walking tour of London with one of my favourite fragrance brands, Penhaligon’s. At the end of the very fun and informative tour, we headed to the nearest store to try out their wonderful fragrances, and this is where I discovered their stunning Portraits Collection…

If you’re a fragrance fanatic you’ll probably be aware that most scents have a story behind them – with some being more involved than others. Penhaligon’s has taken this to another level though with their Portrait’s collection, Penhaligon’s describe this an an ‘olfactory fiction’ where each character or ‘portrait’ is represented by a different fragrance, with a complex and intriguing story attached to each.

To set the scene, we need to head back in time and immerse ourselves into the depths of the British aristocracy. The Portraits collection originates with four fragrances, and follows the story of Lord George and Lady Blanche, their daughter Dutchess Rose, and her husband Duke Nelson. I’ll touch on each of these characters briefly so you can get the gist of the characters and the story…

The Tragedy of Lord George EDP – Lord George is a wealthy and respected man, the archetypal patriarch. He seems to embody the noblest values of the aristocracy: virtue, respect, loyalty and faithfulness. His fragrance reflects his essence; seemingly traditional, yet with hidden secrets.

The Revenge of Lady Blanche EDP – Lady Blanche A darling of London Society, and one of the most influential ladies in Britain. Her aloof beauty, mysterious past and blazing passions are scrutinised by all, and she would do anything to climb the social ladder still further. Her latest scheme is to poison her husband, Lord George, inheriting his wealth and burying his secrets for ever! Her fragrance reflects her very essence: a green floral narcotic.

The Coveted Duchess Rose EDP – Daughter of Lady Blanche and Lord George, Rose married a Duke to escape the stifling rigidity of her family and to become the Coveted Duchess Rose. At first, naively romantic, she has now become disillusioned and frustrated in an unsatisfactory marriage. Always looking for fun and frivolity (and perhaps love affairs), her fragrance is a not so innocent fresh rose.

Much Ado About The Duke EDP – Conforming to the expectations of his class, Duke Nelson married the most coveted girl in London: the Duchess Rose. Yet the Duke is eccentric and unusual, his whimsical airs set society tongues wagging. His perfume is as ambivalent as he is: a floral yet masculine woody fragrance.

And now Penhaligon’s have introduced two new fragrances to the collection that represent the ‘unofficial’ side of Lord George’s dynasty –

Clandestine Clara EDP – A complex creature… A forceful personality, spicy but equally sweet, she has travelled in exotic countries and company – and in her smoky, velvety, woody air you may detect a memory (or three) of his Lordship… She is rebellious, contradictory, independent, unconventional – a woman ahead of her time. But above all, as you will discover, she is a true gourmand, completely delectable (and Lord George would know).

Roaring Radcliff EDP – The secret illegitimate son of Lord George and Clandestine Clara, he’s the sexy and rebellious party animal that indulges in fast cars and even faster wome. A prominent note with Roaring Radcliff is of course tobacco – strong, smoky and distinctive to his set. He also always carries with him gingerbread – adding its sweet spiciness to his father’s love of liquor – in Rutherford’s rum.

Clandestine Clara EDP is a sensual amber oriental, that’s both voluptuous and confident without being overbearing. This fragrance is beautifully enticing, warm, and comforting, whilst being both spicy and smoky. It has a heady depth that’s enticingly gourmand with its vanilla and cinnamon notes, and is amazingly long lasting on the skin. After one spray in the morning, I can still smell this on myself in the evening.

Clandestine Clara is a distinctly feminine fragrance, without being too floral or sweet. It’s sophisticated and confident at first, turning into a soft enveloping embrace of scent on the skin. The notes are as follows –

  • Top Note: Rhum Vanilla
  • Heart Note: Cinnamon Musk
  • Base Note: Ambery Patchouli

You can also see the bottle is simply stunning, as are the rest in this collection. Clandestine Clara is available at Penhalion’s now, and you can read more about the amazing Portraits collection here.

Fragrance: Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense

Posted on January 24, 2017

Hi Guys!

There aren’t many things that excite me more than a new Jo Malone release – and today I have the brand new Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense to share with you…

‘There is an atmosphere of addiction and carnal richness to this fragrance which appeals to both men and women. At the top there is a hint of lavender and a floral note, creating a comforting and voluptuous opening. The big, rich heart and base note of Myrrh is sensual. And the Tonka brings generosity. It’s captivating and mesmerising’ – Mathilde Bijaoui, Master Perfumer.

Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense really is just as wonderful as I was expecting – and I think it may now be my favourite Jo Malone fragrance. It’s a warm, rich and creamy scent, that’s comforting yet sensual. I’m a complete sucker for Jo Malone’s Cologne Intense range, which are heavier, warmer and more of what you’d call an evening fragrance, compared to their standard colognes.

That said, Myrrh & Tonka is actually surprisingly wearable – I say that in the sense that this isn’t and overly heavy ‘evening’ scent. It’s not what I would call intoxicating, like some intense fragrances can be, but it’s just powerful enough to keep that sensual, enticing element which we know and love from Jo Malone.

Myrrh & Tonka opens with a top note of lavender – which I initially thought may not exactly be ‘my thing’ but boy was I wrong! The Lavender is sweet and slightly powdery, leading to a heart of Omumbiri Myrrh combined with rich accents of warm Almond, Vanilla and aromatic Tobacco of the Tonka Bean at the base – and it really is just the most beautiful note combination. Though initially the lavender makes it seem quite a feminine scent, after the dry down it’s actually very gender-neutral, and I can see both men and women easily falling in love with this fragrance.

  • Top Note: Lavender
  • Heart Note: Omumbiri Myrrh
  • Base Note: Tonka

As expected, this scent is a lingerer, it lasts for hours and hours, and as the day goes on you’re left with a wonderful rich and creamy aroma, that’s both seductive and noticeable, whilst being luxuriously understated.

I’d describe Myrrh & Tonka as one of those rare fragrances that literally turns heads. It’s distinct and enticing, and I can guarantee that if you wear it, people around you will be asking about your perfume!

Myrrh & Tonka is a definite must-try for Jo Malone fans – both male and female – and if you’re a fan of combining your scents, it’s worth pairing it with Jo Malone’s classic Pomegranate Noir for a fruity element, or even Velvet Rose and Oud for a more floral take.

Myrrh & Tonka is £105 for 100ml, available now at Jo Malone, and there’s also a half-size 50ml bottle available too (which I think is new size as I haven’t seen any Cologne Intense fragrances available in 50ml before) which you can snap up for £74.00 here.

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Fragrance: Penhaligon’s Luna Eau de Toilette

Posted on October 11, 2016

penhaligons-luna-review

Hi Guys!

When it comes to fragrance, Penhaligon’s really does tick all the boxes for me. Both their packaging and bottles are beautiful – they make me think of fairy tales, whimsy and elegance – and on top of this, their fragrances are just mesmerising.

Today I have Penhaligon’s Luna Eau De Toilette to share with you – based on an ancient mythical love story, Luna of course represents the moon…

penhaligons-luna-perfume

In ancient Greek mythology, the Goddess of the Moon placed Endymion, the most handsome son of Zeus, into a perpetual slumber so that she could gaze upon him forever, his stunning face unmarked by the passage of time. The wishes of the Goddess were granted, and Endymion slept on for all eternity, his smile everlasting. And no wonder, for he spent his life forever dreaming that he held the moon, Luna, gently in his arms.

penhaligons-prefumer-review-luna

To celebrate this wonderful story which I love so much, Penhaligon’s have created a duo of fragrances – Luna, which is fresh and floral, offers a feminine counterpart to the woody leather notes of its more masculine partner, Endymion.

I’d actually say Luna is more of a unisex, or gender-free fragrance, rather than feminine. And as you can probably guess by the above excerpt, Luna has been inspired by the Goddess of the Moon, and aims to capture the essence of this mythical character.

The fragrance itself opens with surprisingly fresh and zingy top notes of Orange Birgrade and Lemon Primofiore, leading to a heart of crisp and dry Juniper Berry and Rose Accord, which is rounded of with a dark woody base of Fir Balsam, Amber Gris, and Musks.

  • Top Notes: Bergamot Oil, Lemon Primofiore Oil, and Orange Bigarade Oil.
  • Heart Notes: Rose Accord, Jasmine Petal Accord, and Juniper Berry Oil.
  • Base Notes: Fir Balsam, Amber Gris, and Musks.

penhaligons-luna-edt-perfume-review

Luna was not at all what I was expecting – I was imagining something quite floral and feminine, and that is definitely not what this fragrance is about. Luna is fresh and clean, whilst also sensual and most definitely complex – this is a must try for fans of niche scents.

Penhaligon’s Luna Eau de Toilette is £128.00 for 100ml and available now at Penhaligon’s.

My New York Diary: Michael Buble By Invitation EDP GIVEAWAY

Posted on October 6, 2016

michael-buble-launch-party

Hi Guys!

Hopefully you’re up to speed with all the goss from the 30 Plus NYC trip by now – I can’t believe it happened over a month ago already! I left a few details out of my original NYC diary as I there was so much I wanted to tell you, I thought I’d better make separate posts.

if you want to catch up with my previous posts you can check out my original New York Diary to see what we go up to each day, and Coney Island was just fantastic, and of course not forgetting, my massive Sephora Haul!

michael-buble-fragrance-workshop

So, on the Tuesday morning of our trip, we had a fragrance workshop arranged with leading French perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni who was the nose behind Michael Buble’s By Invitation fragrance. You probably know by now that I’m a massive perfume fanatic so I was really excited to learn about the scent, as we as hear all about the creative process behind making By Invitation.

Also, Karine worked directly with Michael to create By Invitation – I wanted to make a point of saying this because this isn’t just a random fragrance with a celebrity name on it. Michael had direct influence on the fragrance, and was very specific with his vision and direction – and the quality of the scent really shows the work that has gone into it. Michael said –

It’s no secret that I’m a hopeless romantic. It’s in every note I sing and every song I write. The idea was to create a special ‘invitation’ to fans into my new world of fragrance. I’m inviting women to enjoy a beautiful scent that represents my personal taste and imagination. By Invitation is what I’d call ‘love in a bottle’.

michael-buble-fragrance-workshop-2 michael-buble-fragrance-notes

We learned about the notes that make up the fragrance – and boy are there a lot!

The top contains Bergamot, Red Berries and Lemon, for a sparkling, fruity introduction.

The heart Lily of the Valley, Rose, Peony and Wild Jasmine brings the fragrance together with a selection of fresh and elegant florals.

And the base of Patchouli Indonesia, Vanilla, Praline, Cedar Wood, White Amber and Musk gives a warm and comfortable feeling to the scent – making it both universally appealing and tempting.

michael-buble-fragrance-workshop-3

Smelling each note individually really helped me to grasp how the fragrance was put together, as well as emphasising the fact of how complex this scent really is.

michael-buble-fragrance-workshop-jars

So what is the fragrance actually like?

Well to describe it, I’d say it’s ageless – it doesn’t make you think young girl, or older lady, it definitely has a universal appeal – which suits Michael down to the ground as he does too!

On trying the By Invitation, I was very pleasantly surprised. I have to say I did have a slight worry that what if I didn’t like it? What would I say and do? Well we all instantly fell in love, and doused ourselves with the perfume 🙂

It’s a very warm and inviting scent, designed to make heads turn and be noticed, without being overly powerful or intense. It’s a gorgeous everyday fragrance that feels high end, yet accessible to all.

michael-buble-by-invitation-fragrance-review

The next day was the launch event. After preening for what seemed like many hours, we were all dressed to the nines and ready! The event took place literally next door to our hotel, at the beautiful Eddison Ballroom.

michael-buble-singing

As expected, Michael was wonderful. He explained the thinking behind his fragrance, and also treated us to a few songs.

I have to admit I developed a major crush on Michael right there and then – he’s just so lovely! I can see why he’s so popular – I mean of course he has an amazing voice, but he seems like such a nice genuine guy too. His wife is a very lucky lady indeed! 😀

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet him – cue sad face. He was supposed to be mingling after his talk but ended up going home as he wasn’t feeling very well. Never mind.

After the event we headed off to the after party at a fabulous rooftop bar. It was a fantastic way to end the evening – the drinks were flowing as was the conversation, whilst looking over the night time view of new york city. The whole trip was just fantastic – a definite once in a lifetime opportunity for which I am eternally grateful.

michael-buble-by-invitation-fragrance-and-candle

As you can see in my pictures Michael kindly signed a box for me – how exciting! Oh and the candle is just as gorgeous as the perfume – I’ll let you know when these will be available to buy.

BUT – I also have three more Michael Buble By Invitation SIGNED perfume boxes to give away – with the 50ml perfumes included, obviously! Each will have an original Michael Buble signature on – signed by the man himself. These are obviously very collectible and perfect for Buble fans! The giveaway is open internationally and will run for three weeks. All you need to do is enter via rafflecopter below – and as ever if you have any questions please feel free to drop me a line.

Fragrance: Marc Jacobs Decadence VS Divine Decadence

Posted on September 20, 2016

marc-jacobs-decadence-review

Hi Guys!

On attempting to sort out my perfume collection, I realised I never got round to sharing the original Marc Jacobs Decadence with you, which was released last year. Marc Jacobs have now launched a follow up – Divine Decadence, so I thought I’d take this opportunity to show you both scents, and let you know how they compare and differ…

I remember when I first saw the original Marc Jacobs Decadence, I fell in love with the bottle instantly! It’s just so luxurious looking, and like no other fragrance bottle I’d ever seen – I knew I had to have it!

marc-jacobs-divine-decadence-review

So the original Marc Jacobs Decadence EDP is a wonderfully glamorous and sensuous fragrance. It’s heavy and intoxicating, and most definitely an evening scent. It opens with a blend of Italian Plum, Iris and Saffron, and Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac and Orris at the heart, leading to a rich and tempting dry down of liquid Amber, Vetiver and Papyrus Woods. This is a sophisticated scent, grown up, striking and not easily forgotten.

  • Top Notes: Italian Plum, Iris and Saffron.
  • Heart Notes: Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac and Orris.
  • Base Notes: Liquid Amber, Vetiver and Papyrus Woods.

In comparison, the new Divine Decadence EDP is the perfect sister to the original scent. Described an effervescent, floral-woody expression of timeless glamour, Divine Decadence captures the same indulgent and luxurious nature as the original Decadence, but this time the mood is lighter, the scent more radiant and sparkling, compared to the heavy creaminess of the original Decadence.

Divine Decadence opens with a radiant shimmer of almost-solar notes, including Orange Blossom and a pop of Champagne Extract. At the heart, the creamy floral explosion of Gardenia, Hydrangea and Honeysuckle are glamorous florals, leading to seductive notes of Amber and Vanilla combined with precious Saffron that linger on the skin at the base.

  • Top Notes: Champagne Extract, Orange Blossom and Bergamot.
  • Heart Notes: Gardenia, Hydrangea and Honeysuckle.
  • Base Notes: Saffron, Vanilla and Liquid Amber.

marc-jacobs-decadence-reviews

Overall, both scents are quite intense and I have a feeling you’ll either love them or hate them. If I had to choose though, I’d probably say I prefer Divine Decadence out of the two, just because it’s slightly lighter and more versatile to wear.

Marc Jacobs Decadence and Divine Decadence are priced from £49.00 for 30ml and available now at Boots.
