I hope you’re all well!? Today’s post is on the Lazuli Blue Goddess Pencil by Eye of Horus. If you saw my previous Eye of Horus reviews of the Emerald Eye Pencil and Nubian Brown Eye Pencil, you’ll know I’m a big fan of their products!
The Lazuli Blue eye pencil is one of the newest additions to their eye makeup range. Eye of Horus pencils boast a long list of plus points – they are waterproof, smudge proof, paraben free, made with natural ingredients and not tested on animals. And one of the best bits… you can remove this eyeliner simply with a cloth and warm water!
How pretty is this colour! I find it’s not quite dark enough for me to wear on my eyelid above my upper lashes – I always wear eyeliner on the top lid with a flick – so I use this in my waterline instead. This pencil, just like the others I’ve tried is fabulous to use, it glides on easily as the wax in the ingredients softens when it touches your skin.
You may have seen the above image before in my Lime Crime Eyeliner post, I thought I’d share it again here as I’m wearing the Eye of Horus Lazuli Eyeliner in my waterline 🙂
Have you tried any Eye of Horus products? I’d love to hear if you have!
I hope you enjoyed my review xxx
I’ve absolutely been loving blue eyeliner lately, I went through my makeup stash a little while ago and ever since rediscovering a few products I haven’t used in a while, I can’t get enough of this Bourjois Clubbing Eyeliner in Bleu Neon! As you can see I’ve used it quite a lot!
It’s marketed as a ‘clubbing’ eyeliner as it’s smudge proof and waterproof, and available in a variety of bright vibrant colours. So you’ll be able to wear it all night on the dance floor without worrying your makeup end up sliding down your face!
The colour is a fabulous electric blue with a subtle metallic sheen and great pigmentation. It’s called ‘Bleu Neon’ but I wouldn’t say it’s neon really, it’s definitely an intense electric blue which is hinting toward purple. The formula is spot on too, it’s easy to use, soft but not too soft, and does not drag at all. The only improvement I can think of is I’d prefer a twist up style plastic casing, as sharpening loses product!
I think a lot of people are scared of blue eye makeup, but I definitely say you can’t beat a blue eyeliner! I wear it on the upper and lower lashes; a coloured eyeliner can really emphasise your eyes if you find the right shade. I have blue eyes and I love this as it makes my eyes look slightly greener 🙂
You can purchase the Bourjois Clubbing Eyeliners in many other colours too!
Do you wear blue eyeliner? I’d love to hear your thoughts?
I hope you enjoyed my post 🙂 xxx
