Beauty: NEW ASOS Own Brand Makeup Collection

Posted on October 27, 2017

Hi Guys!

ASOS have been going for years now, and I’ve been a fan from the very beginning (remember when it was As Seen On Screen, anyone?) So I’m truly excited that they’ve now, finally brought out their own range of makeup…

The ASOS beauty collection contains pretty much everything you could want or need in terms of colour makeup (there are no bases such as foundations and primers included in the collection at the moment) Also, the majority of products are priced at well under £10, with the exception of the Eyeshadow Palette which is still very reasonable at £12.00.

The ethos of the collection is simply fun – there are no rules or limits. The products are straightforward, with cute packaging. There’s no supersonic ingredients here, no anti-ageing, anti-wrinkle, plump this, hide that, this is just straightforward no-frills colour makeup, for anyone and everyone to use as they please – which I LOVE.

Experience a more playful reality with the new ASOS Make-Up collection. It’s time for a new perspective on beauty, free from rules, limits and stereotypes. Express another side of yourself every day with our vibrant matte lipsticks, contouring palettes and shimmery eyeshadows.

Starting with complexion products, I have the Bronzers (£8.50) – which are currently available in two colours, Boast and BulletProof. Both are medium shades which will suit both light and medium skin tones. Shade Boast is more golden toned with a very slight touch of golden shimmer, and Bulletproof has a slightly more reddish tone, with a matte finish. Both are incredibly soft and easy to buff into the skin – I like Boast especially as the golden tone really makes my skin look warm and glowy.

And I also have two of the Blushers (£8.00) – these are also currently available in two shades, Acceptance, which is a matte rose pink, and Unbothered which is a light creamy peach with more of a satin finish. Though both are nice, I found Acceptance to have a slightly stiffer formula, with Unbothered being easier to apply and blend. I hope ASOS will be bringing out more shades as I’m personally a big fan of more peachy / coral toned blushers.

Next I have the Chubby Highlighter Sticks (£9.00) – again two shades are currently available, Tenacious and Flawed. Tenacious is the lighter shade, giving a lovely champagne glow, and Flawed is a golden bronze, perfect for deeper skin tones. Both give the skin a really nice glowy highlight that you can easily blend out for a natural look. I really like the smooth creamy formula, and the twist up stick applicator means you can directly apply to the face and blend in with a finger – easy!

I also have one of the Dual Glitter Pots (£6.50) – these nifty little pots contain a wax under the lid, which you apply to the skin first as an adhesive for your glitter, then you unscrew underneath to reveal your pot of loose glitter. I have shade Nonchalant, which is a lilac glitter with blue and green reflects. This glitter can be used on your face, body, nails and hair, and I must admit I was a bit unsure about the wax at first, but after trying it out it really does a great job of keeping the glitter in place.

For pencils, I have two eyeliners and two lipliners. The Eyeliner Pencils (£5.00) come in two shades, Pushy and Grounded. Pushy is an intense matte black, and Grounded is a metallic chocolate brown. Both give creamy intense colour, which literally won’t move once they’re applied – and they also come with an in-built sharpener at the base of pencil which is awesome!

The Lipliner Pencils (£5.00) are pretty similar, there are three shades available of which I have two, 1/2 Full, a bright red, and Sturdy which is a nude beige. In the same style as the eyeliners, they have a fine tip and come with a handy sharpener in the base of the pencil. The texture of the pencils is smooth and easy to apply without any dragging, and they’re also smudge proof.

Next the Eyeshadow Palette (£12.00) – there are four available at the moment, all in fairly muted, neutral tones. I have Strong, which is a palette of cool, smokey eyeshadows, including four shimmer and two matte shades. There’s not really too much you can say about this except the shadows are really nice, well pigmented and soft enough to apply well, but not so soft that you get fall out. This is a fab little palette, and small enough to pop in your handbag which is aways a plus point for me!

And I have to say I’m really loving the Liquid Eyeliner (£6.00) – I have shade Vigilant, which is a true gold with a metallic finish. It has a fine brush for detailed application (I just want to note that I’ve applied it quite thickly on my hand swatch above) and dries down to a high shine metallic finish that doesn’t budge.

I also have the Mascara (£8.00, not shown) – this comes in one shade, Bossy which is a rich black colour. I have to say though the formula seemed good (not clumpy, coated well etc) I found the brush to be too big! The brush on this mascara is pretty massive, and too big for my stumpy little lashes unfortunately. If you’re a fan of a large mascara brush though, this could be perfect for you.

On to Lipsticks (£7.00) now – ASOS have a selection of shades available in both Matte and Satin finishes. Above I have –

  • A Game – a matte orange red shade
  • Owned – an intense true red with a satin finish
  • Steely – a matte peachy pink
  • Out There – a matte bright orange

You can see by my swatches that the pigmentation is very impressive, both finishes give true, intense colour, as well as fantastic coverage. I’m now in love with Owned, it’s just such a beautiful shade, and the satin finish is super creamy and comfortable to wear. This is definitely my favourite!

And lastly the Liquid Lipsticks (£7.00) – currently there are four shades available on the site, of which I have three. Prove It is the most gorgeous intense bright red shade, Overqualified is a pretty nude pink, and Immersed is a nude griege. The formula is thick and moussey, and not runny or liquid in any way. They dry down really quickly and leave lips with a super pigmented matte finish that lasts for hours.

Overall I’m incredibly impressed with the ASOS Makeup collection – apart from a couple of personal quibbles, everything really is fantastic. From the packaging to the formulas, ASOS really have hit the mark with these products – and with the price point being so reasonable too, they’re definitely worth checking out. If you’d like any further info or swatches (as I didn’t manage to include all of them) please just shout and I’ll be happy to help.

The above products are all available now exclusively at ASOS Beauty.

Beauty: Kiko Cosmetics Fall 2.0 Limited Edition Collection

Posted on October 12, 2017

Hi Guys!

I have one of Kiko Milano Cosmetics latest limited edition collections to share with you today – the Fall 2.0 Collection is inspired by Venice, the ultimate city of romance…

The collection captures the essence of the regal Baroque city and its many delights, through makeup products that reawaken an innate sensuality, with luxurious colours ranging from elegant nudes to romantic reds, decadent blues to purples and the most spectacular deep shades. The makeup looks are classic, skin is perfect and lips precisely defined. The gaze captures our attention with magnetic smoky eyes and deep colours. A high-performance collection where the mask, symbol of intriguing femininity, offers a new dimension to self-care, without sacrificing the intimacy of lace.

Starting with the Duo Bronzer in shade 01 Bright Life (£15.90) – I always love Kiko bronzers, whenever they bring out a new collection, their bronzers always seem to end up being one of my favourite products. This Duo Bronzer comprises of a pressed powder in two different yet complimentary colours and finishes, the main section has a texturised pattern embossed into the power and has a matte finish, and there’s a smaller section which is slightly lighter in shade, with a metallic finish.

The powder is wonderfully soft and easy to apply, and the formula contains Soft Focus properties to minimise imperfections. The first powder mattifies and perfects the complexion, whilst the metallic bronzer refines the look for a sophisticated, professional result, leaving skin looking radiant with a healthy glow. I love this shade, which is perfect for my pale skin, and though I’m not a massive fan of shimmer in bronzer, I like that you have the option here if you wish to use it.

Next the Duo Blush in 01 New Coral (£12.90) – much like the above bronzer, this blush is a ‘duo’ product, but this time rather than two different finishes, the blush includes two different shades, both with a matte finish.

I have the blush in shade 01 New Coral which includes a light peachy pink, and a more intense orange-coral shade. The formula is smooth and creamy on application, and thought it’s a powder, it has a lovely liquid finish, that’s easy to blend to look like a natural flush on the cheeks, or built up for a more intense look.

I also have the Magnetic Eyeshadow in shade 04 Purple Mind (£12.90) – this is a gorgeous metallic finish loose pigment eyeshadow that’s velvety to the touch and super smooth on application, as well as being intensely pigmented.

Interestingly there is a magnet placed in the base of the packaging, which shapes the pigment to give the wave like finish on the top. The magnet keeps this pattern even after you’ve used the product, and it also stops the pigment from falling out. I think this is kind of cool, but I’d also be interested to find out exactly how the pigment is magnetised!

I also have one of the Lip Stylos in shade 02 Modern Mauve (£9.90) – this shade really is gorgeous and perfect for autumn. Kiko’s lip Stylos just tick all the boxes for me – they’re creamy and smooth to apply, give fantastic pigmentation and last for hours. These are definitely worth a look if you’re on the hunt for a new affordable lipstick.

And lastly I have one of their Metallic Liners in shade 02 Be Gold (£5.90) – this is a bright metallic gold shade that can be used on the eyes, lips and face – I’m not sure I’d be using this on my lips personally, but I still love that this is a multi-use product allowing you to be as creative as you wish. This light gold shade is great for adding highlight to the inner corners of the eyes, or even under the brows or the cupids bow, and it’s also available in light rose pink and copper shades.

If you’d like to see swatches of anything or have any questions, please just shout 🙂

The Fall 2.0 collection is available at Kiko Cosmetics now.

I have to say I’m really excited for these products! But the high prices are a bit off-putting. I think I’m going to wait for reviews and swatches of the eyeshadow palettes to pop up before splashing out so much money – hopefully they’ll turn out to be as good as they look!

I’d love to hear what you think? Have you tried any Pat McGrath products? Are you tempted by these?? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Beauty: MAC Rollerwheel Eyeliner, Bold & Bad Lash Mascara & Metallic Lipsticks

Posted on September 5, 2017

Hi Guys!

I have a few of the latest launches from MAC to share with you today – starting with their rather exciting Rollerwheel Eyeliner…

You’ve probably heard about the Rollerwheel Liquid Eyeliner (£16.50) or ‘pizza cutter’ eyeliner by now, as it’s been talked about quite a lot recently. This completely new and innovative approach to eyeliner has got beauty fans across the globe excited – the idea being that a teeny tiny wheel is ran across the lash line to give a perfectly even and straight line – but does it actually work?

Well, rather like the Benefit They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner, which was quite a weird and wonderful concept at the time of launch, the roller wheel does take a bit of getting used to. The tiny spinning disc does give a nice sharp line, which is very fine indeed, and would take most people quite a few goes to get it to a decent thickness. However, if you like a super thin line applied close to the lash line, this could be the product for you. Be prepared to practice though as the applicator does take a bit of getting used to.

This is available in Black, Brown and Blue, in both matte and shine finishes.

Next I have the new Bold & Bad Lash Mascara (£19.50) – this mascara is basically two products in one. It has a dual chamber which contains a large brush for the upper lashes, and a mini brush for lower lashes – with each having different mascara formulas to suit the upper and lower lashes too.

The formula promises to do everything you’d expect, apart from being flake proof and smudge proof, the larger brush delivers customized volume to the top, whilst separating the lashes, while the smaller brush creates smudge-proof definition to the bottom.

Though personally my super short lashes find the large main brush a bit on the big side, I love the mini brush for the bottom lashes, and the formula is fantastic too.

And lastly I have a few of the new limited edition Metallic Lipsticks to show you. There are 18 shades to choose from offering rich colour with smooth pearlized chrome finish, in a wide range of colours. The 18 shades are as follows –

  • Royal Hour – a deep royal purple with blue pearl.
  • Foiled Rose – a brightened blue pink.
  • Hades Fire – a cool red burgundy.
  • Silver Spoon – a multidimensional silver.
  • In Lust – a light warm neutral.
  • Jupiter – a bronzed neutral.
  • Pearly One – a confetti’ed white frost.
  • Disobedient – a deep burgundy red wine.
  • Anything Once – a blackened blue with multi-colored pearl.
  • Metalwork – a pale beige with golden shimmer.
  • Love’s A Gamble – a light pink with peach and silver shimmer.
  • Rose-Dipped – a mid-tone pink with gold and silver shimmer.
  • Wild Nectar – a rose with silver shimmer.
  • Optix – an orange with gold pearl.
  • Ionized Iris – a bright fuchsia with multi-color pearl.
  • Forbidden Romance – a brick red with multi-dimensional pearl
  • Pale Rose – a cool muted neutral pink.
  • Cold Front – a frosted periwinkle blue.

I have a few of the more out-there shades, as well as a more wearable pink, swatched from top to bottom above –

  • Anything Once – a blackend blue with multi-colored pearl.
  • Rose-Dipped – a midtone pink with gold and silver shimmer.
  • Royal Hour – a deep royal purple with blue pearl.
  • Cold Front – a frosted periwinkle blue.

You can see all the shades offer decent pigmentation, but are still on the sheer side. If you’re looking for full coverage then these are not for you! However, they do look great worn on top of a liquid lipstick, which gives a nice base to set off the shimmer and sparkles.

All the above products are available to purchase now at MAC and Selfridges.

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Beauty: My Thoughts on Beauty Bakerie Products

Posted on July 31, 2017

Hi Guys!

One of the most exciting beauty brands I’ve heard about of late is Beauty Bakerie. If you haven’t heard of this brand, Beauty Bakerie is a US based brand, launched in 2011 by Cashmere Nicole…

I wanted to create a brand that contradicted the popular ‘bad girl’ persona the mainstream was pedaling – to show girls that there’s nothing wrong with upholding a sweet and friendly nature. Life is sure to hand all of us its lemons but I strongly believe it is up to us to change our perspective. I overcame the struggles of teenage parenting, I overcame breast cancer and loss only to arrive to a place of peace. It is the sweetest peace I’ve known. Truly indescribable. This, Beauty Bakerie, is a piece of that peace that I wanted to share with you.

Beauty Bakerie products are available to buy in the UK at ASOS, and I have a whole bundle of them to share with you today –

Starting with the Neapolitan EyesCream Palette (£32.00) – This fab little palette contains twelve warm toned eyeshadows, with seven shimmer shades and five mattes. The shades are mostly neutral, easy to wear colours, but Beauty Bakerie have also included a couple of brights to give eyes a pop of colour. The formula is smooth and really well pigmented, and I love the shades Sliced Almonds and Powdered Sugar especially.

Unfortunately my swatches photo really did not do these shades justice, so if you’d like to see any more photos please just let me know and I’ll take some more pictures 🙂

Next I have the So Icy Illuminator (£27.00) – This cute little ice cream tub contains a super sparkly, glistening powder highlighter. I have to say, though I love the look of the packaging, I don’t think it’s that practical. There is a circle of holes where you dispense the product out, and I just think they’re too big – it got pretty messy when I was trying this out!

The highlighter itself comes in four shades (I have Frosted, which is a light champagne pink) and has a very light powder texture. If you’re a fan of particularly sparkly highlighters, this is definitely worth a try.

I’ve also been trying out a few of Beauty Bakerie’s Liquid Lipsticks. The Metallic Lip Whips (£16.00) have a metallic shimmer finish and are available in 10 colours. (Starting from the top swatch) I have shades Vitamin Sea which is an intense metallic blue, and Berried, a metallic deep wine red. Though these are metallic / shimmer lipsticks, you can see they dry down to a matte finish, which I love. The formula lasts for hours and is both smudge proof and water proof.

I also have four of the standard Lip Whips – the third swatch down is Yoghurt Berries, an intense, creamy fuchsia, next is Fortune Cookie, a warm peach toned beige, next is Swiss Mocha Frappe, a light greige nude, and lastly Bae Cake, a deep sea blue. All these shades have a creamy liquid formula, that dries to a really nice matte finish.

I’m also completely in love with the EyesCream Cream Eyeshadow (£14.50) – This dinky little cream eyeshadow pot gives the most amazingly pigmented finish. I have shade Lick The Spoon, which is a highly metallic cool toned silver. The formula is creamy and easy to apply, and the finish is pretty matte. I found applying this with a finger worked the best for me, but you can also use a brush – and you can also use this as eyeliner. There are nine shades available in all, and I think I definitely need to snap a few more up!

I also have a Gelato To Go Gel Eyeliner (£14.50) – This looks quite similar to the cream eyeshadow in the pot, but this has a much heavier texture. This long lasting gel eyeliner has a smudge proof and waterproof formula, and applies like a dream with a decent eyeliner brush. This will literally last all day too – I love it!

And lastly the Sprinkles Glitter (£9.50) – Even though I’m a massive fan of glitter, this is probably my least favourite out of the bunch. There’s nothing wrong with the glitter at all, I just feel that for £9.50 you’re getting a very small amount of product here – I can’t see anywhere on the packaging where it tells you exactly how much product you’re getting. It’s a small amount though, and for £9.50 you can almost buy 2x NYX Glitter Pots (£5.50 each) which looks to have at least three times as much product (at a guess).

I do however really like the Sprinkles Glue which you need to get the glitter to stick to your face and / or body. It’s a clear glue that comes in a handy little tube with a lip gloss style applicator. Unfortunately this is no longer available on the ASOS site, but you can pick up the NYX Glitter Primer as a fab alternative.

Beauty Bakerie products are available now at ASOS. I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Beauty: Too Faced X Kat Von D Better Together Collection #TooFacedxKatVonD

Posted on March 16, 2017

Hi Guys!

As soon as I heard there was a Too Faced X Kat Von D collaboration on the cards many moons ago, I literally couldn’t wait to see what Jerrod and Kat would come up with together. The Better Together collection isn’t that new as I’m writing this, but is still a recent launch at Too Faced (they’re just coming out with so many new products right now!) and it contains a fab selection of products from both brands…

This impossible collaboration began with an authentic friendship between the two founders, Kat and Jerrod – who love, respect and celebrate one another, realizing they are more alike than they are different. They have created a collection that proves nobody has to fail in order for you to succeed. Dozens of secret meetings and social media leaks later, the wait is finally over.

The Ultimate Eye Collection (£57.00) is definitely the stand out set from this collection. The box contains a heard shaped eyeshadow palette which actually splits in two to create two separate mini palettes. One half has been created by Kat Von D, and half by Too Faced – and it’s worth mentioning that each half uses each individual brands signature eyeshadow formula too.

I have to say I love that the palette breaks in half (you can re-attach it easily as it’s magnetised) and I just think it’s such a fun and interesting concept – as well as being practical if you only want to use one half of the palette at a time.

Too Faced’s side includes six heart shaped pans in some very pretty, easy to wear shades. I’m not head over heels excited about this shade selection to be honest, but I do think they’re nice, and definitely wearable  –

  • BFF – a matte cream.
  • Friendspiration – a warm bronze gold shimmer.
  • Power couple – a deep bronze with gold glitter.
  • Lovely – a baby pink matte.
  • Heart of Gold – a light gold shimmer which almost has a hint of green.
  • Better Together – a muted plum glitter.

And Kat’s side includes six bold and intense shades, which are definitely representative of the Kat Von D brand. Personally, I prefer these overall compared to the Too Faced half. I think the shade choice is really unusual and interesting. The shades are –

  • Yours – a matte grey.
  • Devotion – a matte black.
  • Darling – a mid silver shimmer.
  • Swoon – an intense metallic red.
  • Por Vida – a bright white matte.
  • Lovestruck – a nude peach shimmer.

The Ultimate Eye Collection also contains a full sized Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, and a full sized Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.

The Cheek & Lip Makeup Bag Set (£33.00) contains the cutest two-sided collectible mini makeup bag, with one side dedicated to each brand. Kat’s side has a black base and features her cat, Piaf, and Too Faced’s side is a sparkly pink featuring Jerrod’s dog, Clover. This sweet little makeup pouch also holds a selection of mini favourites from both brands, including some new and exclusive shades.

Too Faced have included a deluxe mini Candlelight Glow Highlighter in Rosy Glow, which is perfect for creating a soft-focus highlight and glow, as well as a deluxe mini Love Flush Blush featuring a long-wear, high pigment formula in the new and exclusive in-your-face pink shade So Happy Together.

Kat has chosen a couple of lip products from her brand, including a deluxe mini Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in the new shade XO, which is a deep intense burgundy red, and a deluxe mini Studded Kiss Lipstick offering bold pigment and long wear in the new shade Muse, which is a mid nude with a hint of shimmer.

And lastly, for those on a budget that would still like to snap up something from the collection, the Mascara and Liner Duo (£18.00) is the most affordable option, and contains two deluxe mini-sized, best-selling eye products from both brands –

Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara is definitely a must have if you don’t own it already. This mascara promises 1,944% more volume, which is insane! And since trying out these products, I’m a new covert to Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, which has an ultra-precise brush tip and gives 24-hour waterproof wear.

The Too faced X Kat Von D collection is available now exclusively at Debenhams.

Were you as excited about this collaboration as I was? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Beauty: New Makeup Worth Checking Out – Feat. New CID Cosmetics, Chantecaille, Lancome & More

Posted on February 6, 2017

Hi Guys!

Happy Monday! I’ve gathered a few products together today that I really think are worth checking out. There are a couple of brands such as New CID Cosmetics and Suqqu that I’ve included specifically today as you don’t really hear much about them, but the do make some fantastic products – enjoy!

Ok so starting with New CID Cosmetics, the New CID Cosmetics i-Gloss Light Up Lip Gloss (£19.50 at Feelunique) is such a fun product – I mean who could resist a lip gloss with an automatic light in the lid, and a mirror on the side? And this shade, Moonstone is such a beautiful pearlescent pink – it’s great as a gloss on its own, or also as a lip topper worn over a liquid lipstick.

The Limited Edition i-groom Eyebrow Grooming Pencil and Brush (£19.50 at Feelunique) is another great product, this is a sleek looking, simple yet effective wind up brow pencil, with a spoolie brush at the opposite end. It creates a fine, sharp line that’s perfect for drawing on natural looking brows, without looking too heavy.

And the i-Prime Mini (£16.00 at Feelunique) – this is a mini 10ml primer, perfect for keeping in your on-the-go makeup bag. The formula is a lightweight serum including Shea Butter and Vitamin E to help blur imperfections, leaving skin looking radiant and beautiful.

Next I have a few products from Rodial – firstly their new Baking Powder (£29.00 at Rodial) – this is is perfect for those that like to do a full on makeup routine and ‘bake’ their face to set their base. This is a silky smooth loose powder that mattifies skin to give it a creamy, suede soft-focus finish whilst blurring imperfections. Simply apply this loose setting powder over your concealer or foundation, leave to warm on skin for 10-15 minutes and dust off the excess – easy.

And Rodial have also introduced their new Baking Brush (£40.00 at Rodial) to go with the above powder. This brush has been specifically designed with soft, dense hairs to allow for easy application of loose powder. It’s also the ideal tool for buffing and dusting off excess powder so you can achieve a flawless matte finish to your complexion.

Rodial also have a new Instaglam Compact Deluxe Highlighting Powder in 02 (£52.00 at Rodial) – this is a beautiful creamy textured highlighting powder, in a light champagne shade. It contains soft powders and refined pearls which are blended together to create a beautiful creamy powder with an iridescent finish.

Continuing with highlighters, I also wanted to include the Estee Edit Flash Illuminator Fluid Powder (£22.00 at Selfridges) – this is very similar to the Rodial highlighter above but this one is slightly more gold / peach toned. It would be great for light to medium skin tones and has a lovely smooth almost creamy texture that’s really flattering when applied to the top of the cheekbones especially.

And for a more budget friendly highlighter option, the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Fix Highlighting Stick in Starlight (£9.99 at Boots) is definitely worth checking out. If you’re looking for a slightly deeper, more golden highlight, this stick formula has a wonderfully smooth consistency, and leaves the skin glowing with a golden sheen.

I also have a couple of the (fairly) new Lancome Cushion Blushers (£29.00 at Lancome) – these cushion blushers are perfect for giving the complexion a fresh, dewy glow. You only need a tiny amount to give a pretty flush to the skin, and the formula also offers intense hydration, and the cushion sponge allows you to easily build the intensity of the colour to suit your preference.

If you’re looking for a new eyeshadow palette, the Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eyeshadow Palette (£34.00 at Beauty Bay) is one to add to your to-try list. There are four different quads available and I have Interlewd which contains some really pretty soft pinks and rich purple shades.

Or for single eyeshadows, the Chantecaille Mermaid Eyeshadow in Hematite (£29.00 at Space NK) is simply stunning. This is a crease-proof and water resistant product that can be worn either wet or dry and used an eye shadow or as an eyeliner. The formula is also infused with an anti-aging silk tree extract that helps lift the upper eyelid for a more youthful looking eye area.

And the Suqqu Extra Glow Lipstick (£23.00 at Selfridges) – Japanese cult brand Suqqu is another that you don’t see much of, but definitely worth a mention. Their Extra Glow Lipstick contains a blend of seven nourishing oils for long-lasting moisture, and creates the appearance of plumper lips with a natural sheen.

And going back to eyes, the Smith & Cult B-Line Eye Pen (£21.00 at Beauty Bay) is a richly pigmented, felt pen liner that’s both smudge-proof and waterproof. This innovative precision, felt tipped liner applies seamlessly along the lash-line giving highly pigmented colour with a quick drying finish. If you’re looking for a new pen style eyeliner I’d definitely recommend you check this one out.

For those looking to cover their dark circles, the Know Cosmetics No Dark Shadows Concealer in Wow (£15.00 at Superdrug) is just the product for the job. This is a multipurpose under eye concealer designed to conceal imperfections and dark circles, as well as highlight the complexion. This is available in two shades – Wow (rosy tone) and Pizazz (yellow tone) and offers medium coverage which is both long lasting and moisturising.

And back to Suqqu, their Gel Eyeliner (£20.00 at Selfridges) is a super thin 2mm precision tipped pencil eyeliner with a texture that seems to melt onto the skin, creating a wonderfully smooth and delicate line. This is perfect for those looking for a subtle and fine lined eyeliner.

You’ll probably notice I haven’t included many lip products today – when I was getting everything together I realised there are LOADS of amazing lip products that have recently launched, so I’ll be publishing a separate post just on them very soon.

I’d love to hear what you think? Have you tried any of these products yourself? I decided not to include swatches as I took some and they just weren’t doing the products justice. If you’d like to see swatches of anything though please do let me know and I’ll be happy to share on Insta Stories 🙂

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
