Hello lovelies, I’m Latasha from Today I Adore and I wanted to share my Top 5 favourite lip products with you gorgeous readers of Thou Shalt Not Covet!
I’m thrilled to be doing a guest post for Michelle, as I read her blog all the time and adore it, so thank you Michelle! Let’s role on with what products have made the cut to be permanently on my pout.
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Colours The main reason these are one of my favourite lip products is the amazing quality you get for such a little price! These lipsticks come in a VAST range of colours which are packed with pigmentation and the matte finish isn’t at all drying. They are just really easy to work with, super inexpensive and add a pop of colour to your makeup perfectly. If you live in the UK, a lot of the shades are available on Amazon for around £3.00 each lipstick.
MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass I’m not really much of a lip gloss gal, the UK’s weather isn’t all that great and the majority of the time I feel like I’m just removing my windswept hair from sticky lips, and that’s just annoying. I randomly fell in love with this colour while having a browse at my local Mac counter and decided to just give it a go anyway. Now, these are my kind of lip glosses! The colour payoff is incredible, much like a liquid lipstick and they wear for a really long time compared to past flings with lip glosses! Definitely a new favourite of mine down to the zero stickiness and full colour.
Covergirl Lipperfection Jumbo Gloss Balm There is definitely a Lip Pencil hype going around right now and the Jumbo Gloss Balm’s should be a top contender if you like those kind of lip products! When all you want is a splash of colour mixed in with a moisturising balm, this is what you need to pop in your handbag! They are really nourishing, give a beautiful sheer wash of colour to your lips and if you twist the metallic silver end they are retractable too (Zero sharpening hurray).
Korres Lip Butter These lip butters are BEAUTIFUL. I could ramble for hours on end about everything I love about these little pots of yumminess but I’ll try to keep it short & sweet. It’s definitely true to the name, you get a buttery soft feeling on your lips which isn’t at all greasy. The Lip Butters also smell delicious and give your lips a little tint too! When winter roles around this will be a staple for me as it stays put for quite a while and has kept my dry lips at bay.
Maybelline Baby Lips I most definitely fell victim to the hype, and rightly so in my opinion. When these adorable balms finally made it to the UK, first on my hit list to pick up was Peach Kiss. I adore nude lip products, I just think they go with so much and are really handy to have in your stash. They smell super nice too, a tiny bit synthetic peach but not off putting in any way. They do a great job at softening your lips too and I love that they an additional 5 varieties. For £2.99 a pop, you really can’t argue about the quality of these. The colour payoff for this shade isn’t super intense, it just about swatches but for everyday care that’s just fine for me.
That just about sums up my Top 5 favourite lip products, Thank you again to Michelle for letting me guest post on her fabulous blog, and I hope you enjoyed reading this post! What are your favourite Lip Products?
Thank you Latasha! xx
