Christmas: The Net-A-Porter Ultimate Beauty Kit

Posted on November 18, 2016

net-a-porter-ultimate-beauty-kit

Hi Guys!

I just happened to be browsing the Net-A-Porter site today and noticed this rather amazing set on sale. It’s not an advent calendar as such, in fact it’s much better as it contains 32 products rather than 24 or even 12.

The Ultimate Beauty Kit is described as an expertly curated set including 32 cult-favorite products covering makeup, skincare and hair, from top brands such as Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Burberry Beauty, Sunday Riley and many more.

The kit contains 16 travel size and 16 full size products – now I don’t know about you but I think that’s pretty amazing really. When you look at the price of other luxury advent calendars, and consider that the majority of the products included are travel size, they make this looks like an amazing deal. I’m currently waiting on confirmation of which products are full size, and the size of the travel sized ones too, so as soon as I find out I’ll update the info below.

Here’s a list of everything that’s included – I’ve also added links to the individual products in case you want to look at them in more detail:

Ok so I’ve now got all the prices and details of which are the full sized products, and I’ve worked out that you’ve got about £574.98 worth of beauty goodness here. I mean how amazing is that!!

If you missed out on a luxury advent calendar this year, I’d definitely recommend checking this set out. You can purchase the Ultimate Beauty Kit for £150 now at Net-a-Porter.

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Goldfaden MD Fleuressence Native Botanical Cell Facial Oil

Hi Guys!

Happy Monday!! Today I’ve got an amazing product to share with you – Goldfaden MD’s Fleuressence Native Botanical Cell Facial Oil, what a mouthful! 😀

This is my first experience of Goldfaden MD products, so I’ll give you a bit of background info – Goldfaden MD are the first guys on the block to offer a physician strength, dermatologist developed, natural skincare line in the skincare industry. Their skincare solutions utilize state-of-the-art technologies with active plant cells and anti-oxidant rich botanicals to offer problem-solving remedies that target a range of specific skin concerns.

I must admit, I was a bit wary of this product, simply because it’s an oil. I have used an oil on my skin before quite a while ago now, and it left a greasy feeling that I just couldn’t get on with. Fleuressence Cell Oil, on the other hand, is something very different, it’s completely non greasy and it also smells divine. It’s been developed specifically to replenish hydration, improve skin colour and tone and boost radiance. These are all things my skin really needs a hand with right now!

Fleuressence Cell Oil contains a blend of 100% pure active botanicals, fruit extracts and natural oil to deliver powerful vitamins and nutrients deep into the skin to boost moisture levels and skin cell revitalisation. Here’s some in depth info about the amazing ingredients –

  • Baobab Oil: This is a rich, golden oil that improves skin elasticity, encourages quick regeneration of skin cells and epithelial tissues, and improves skin tone without clogging pores. It’s a natural source of vitamins A and F, and actively supports rejuvenating and renewing cell membranes.
  • Kalahari Oil: Provides abundant essential fatty acids to moisturise, regenerate and restructure the skin.
  • Marula Oil: This is packed with omega-9 fatty acid vitamin E and flavonoids. Essential fatty acids and powerful antioxidants, particularly the high levels of oleic acid, help maintain the skin’s moisture barrier, provide long lasting hydration and protect against environmental aggressors.
  • Mongongo Oil: Excels as a protective agent for skin with hydrating, regenerating and restructuring properties.
  • Rose Hip Seed Oil: This is a unique nutrient profile that includes Vitamins A (Retinol), C and E, in conjunction with Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids. Together, they work to regenerate skin cells, reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles, and improve skin colour and tone.

The botanical actives work to diminish the appearance of fine lines, discoloration, inflammation, and reduce pore size. And the powerful oils – Kalahari Oil, Mongongo Oil and Baobab Oil – protect and shield the skin against environmental stresses, support the rejuvenation and renewing of skin cells, improve skin elasticity and promote accelerated skin cell turnover.

It’s really quick and easy to use, too, you just apply 2 drops to face morning and night or you can also mix it with your moisturizer or foundation to give your complexion a lovely luminous glow.

I can’t tell you how amazing this stuff is, after one use, my skin felt amazingly soft and glowing, and I’ve now been using it on and off for a couple of weeks and I’m beyond impressed with the effect it’s had – my complexion seems cleaner and brighter, my skin feels plumper and overall it’s just more radiant!

Goldfaden MD Fleuressence Native Botanical Cell Facial Oil is exclusive to Space NK at £105. Yes it’s pricey, but worth every penny in my book.

I’d love to hear if you use a facial oil? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

January Beauty Favourites

january-2015-beauty-favourites

Hi Guys!

I’ve only just released I haven’t written a monthly favourites post since last September – oops! Anyway I’m back on the wagon now, and there have just been so may amazing products I’ve been using lately, it’s been hard to cut it down! I’ve managed to get my list down to a reasonable length now, so here are the products I’ve been loving in January –

MAC Lip Pencil in Soar. Ok so I’m a bit late to the bandwagon with the whole Kylie Jenner nude lip thing, but I am a big fan of a nude lip so thought I’d snap this up when I saw it finally available on MAC’s site, and I have to say I love it! The colour is the perfect my lips but better shade and I have to say I’m keen to grab Whirl when that comes back in stock now too.

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anita. I bought this last year when the Audacious lippies were first released, and it’s the perfect partner to my Soar lip pencil. Giving beautiful creamy colour with full opacity, this has been my go to lip product since the beginning of the year.

Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Loose Powder. This is a product that I actually use all the time, but kind of automatically without realising if that makes sense! Mineral Veil is a fantastic setting powder without being heavy or cakey, it sets my foundation giving a demi-matte finish with a super lightweight feel.

Elie Saab Resort Collection Fragrance. This fragrance is simply beautiful and I haven’t been able to put it down since it arrived. Resort Collection instantly whisks you away on a luxurious holiday, with sunshine, cocktails, sailing boats (you know the type where people lounge around drinking champers) and summer nights. It’s the perfect fragrance to brighten your mood in this dreary weather and I really can’t recommend it enough.

Bourjois Mega Eyeliner Pen. This is without a doubt one of the best pen style eyeliners I’ve ever used. The Mega Eyeliner has a slanted nib – just like a calligraphy pen – which makes it super easy to draw fine or thicker lines. The product itself is also the deepest most opaque black, and it lasts all day. I would recommend this to any eyeliner fan.

Goldfaden MD Fleuressence Cell Oil. I must admit I’ve only recently started trying the Fleuressence Cell Oil, but I have to say I’m completely in love already. This miracle oil encompasses 100% pure active botanicals, fruit extracts and natural oil to deliver powerful vitamins and nutrients deep into the skin, resulting in replenished hydration, improved skin colour and tone and it boosts radiance. I’ve only used this a few times but my skin already feels brighter, plumper and amazingly nourished. Full review to follow!

Stila In The Light Palette. I’m pretty sure this has been in one of my previous favourites posts. This palette is just so beautiful and versatile, I’ve found myself constantly going back to it. The shades are all so easy to wear, plus they have amazing colour payoff and stay put all day.

Milani Baked Blusher in Luminoso. I’ve only just discovered Milani products, and I’m so glad I did. Their baked eyeshadow in Luminoso is such a beautiful peachy coral shade that gives a lovely sheen to the skin and brightens the complexion. It’s the perfect spring shade!

Nuxe Reve De Miel. This lip balm has instantly jumped to the top of my favourites list. It works amazingly well to soften and moisturise even the driest lips, i.e mine, and it’s lived in my handbag ever since it arrived. This is a must have if you suffer from super dry lips like I do. (FYI I googles it and Reve De Miel means ‘Honey Dream’)

Well there we have it for January’s favourites, I’m going to try my best not to forget to do February’s! I hope you enjoyed my post, and I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of these products? xxx
