There’s nothing I love more that gorgeous and luxurious bath and body products – especially at this time of year. The Ritual of Sakura Collection is just beautiful both in terms of the scent and the packaging, and offers everything you need to pamper yourself, relax and unwind.
I’ve recently signed Freddy up to Forest School which we go to after school on a Friday. We’re literally outside in a forest, making fires, playing in ditches and doing fun outdoorsy stuff – and it always seems to rain! These products have now become a bit of a ritual for me (see what I did there) so when we get home I give Freddy a bath, then take a good hour to myself to soak and relax with my Ritual of Sakura products 🙂
For centuries, the Japanese have celebrated the annual flowering of the Cherry Blossom, or Sakura. Marking an awakening of nature, this symbolises that beauty is momentary and life must be enjoyed. Inspired by this tradition, The Ritual of Sakura collection blends the sweetness of Cherry Blossom with nourishing Organic Rice Milk, to make each day feel like a new beginning.
So let’s take a look at the products –
Starting with the Body Scrub (£19.50) – perfect for this time of year, the Sakura sugar body scrub has been formulated with mixture of organic sugar and softening oils, and it has been specially developed to gently exfoliate and nourish even the driest of skin. I absolutely love this – it leaves my body feeling super soft and smooth.
The Shower Foam (£8.50) is another fab product – there’s not really too much I can say about this except it gives a lovely creamy, moisturising foam and smells amazing!
I try to follow up with the Body Cream (£19.50) – when I remember and if I have time. This is a rich, velvety, whipped body cream that deeply nourishes skin. It also includes a blend of Vitamin E, Antioxidants and Centella Asiatica to help strengthen the skin too.
And I’ve been loving the Bed & Body Mist (£16.50) – apart from offering the same lovely Sakura scent, this mist also contains moisturising ingredients to leave skin velvety soft with a beautiful scent. Rituals have also advised to try spraying it into your washing machine to give clothes a floral aroma – which I definitely need to try soon.
And lastly, for fans of home scents, the Mini Fragrance Sticks (£14.50) could be right up your street – these mini sticks are perfect for scenting small rooms and last for around two to three weeks.
You can see the full Ritual of Sakura collection now at Rituals.
