summer accessories wish list_edited-1

Hi Guys!

I had planned to start this post with the phrase ‘Summer is officially on it’s way…’ as it’s been quite nice here lately, but it’s actually chucking it down right now! Nevertheless, I can’t wait till the warmer weather arrives, I’m hoping to bust out the fake tan very soon! It’s also now officially less than a month till my birthday too – June 12th in case you want to add that to your diary – oh and chocolate would be very nice thank you 🙂 It’s my son’s birthday on the same day too so I’m now starting to get excited and make plans for both of us! I’ve put together a little wish list today with some gorgeous golden and metallic accessories that I’ve had my eye on lately. Gift Idea | Tales From The Earth Engraved Silver Bracelet

Posted on December 6, 2014

Hi Guys!

I’m trying my best to put together as many gift guides and ideas for you as I can this winter – I love browsing other people guides so I’m hoping my suggestions will inspire you too!

I’ve got a fabulous gift idea for you today – the Tales From The Earth The Beauty of Friendship Message Bangle. This bangle holds a secret message for you – a written wish that gently brushes your wrist a thousand times each day. Share the wish with those you trust, remember the person who gave it to you and feel blessed by the fact that you have a friend through thick and thin.

This beautiful bangle is rhodium plated (this is the same process used on white gold jewellery to give the silver colour) and comes with the message ‘The Beauty of Friendship’ engraved on the inside surface. This would make the most fantastic unusual gift for a best friend this Christmas!

Tales From The Earth also have other engraved bangles on sale with different themes including – love, happiness, luck and adventure, so if you’re looking for a jewellery gift there’s a wide selection to choose from to suit different recipients. Tales From The Earth also sell necklaces, earrings, keepsakes and a whole range of other lovely items, so make sure you take a look at their site if you’re looking for gift ideas!

Mystical Cats Outer Space Outfit feat Spiral Bags

Posted on October 1, 2014

Hi Guys!

I thought I’d put a little look together today to show you some of my favourite outfit type things at the moment! 🙂 As much as I am starting to embrace more autumnal hues, I still can’t get enough of brights, holos and crazy prints, so, first up has to be my Mystical Cat Dress from ASOS. HOW AWESOME IS THIS? I was originally looking for something to wear to the Bloggers Love event, and literally had no idea what I wanted when I stumbled upon this amazing cat print dress in the ASOS sale. It was reduced from £22 to £15, and clearly it was made for me, so I thought it was worth a punt! When it arrived I fell in love! It’s just a simple stretchy body-con style dress but I just loved the print so much, mystical cats should be compulsory for everybody. The only thing I found though was the neck was a bit low and there was way too much boob on display, so I got my good old mum to adjust it for me, yay!

To add to the galaxy theme – there can never be enough galaxy – I teamed my frock with an awesome Galaxy Saturn Backpack* from Spiral Bags. If you haven’t heard of Spiral they are pretty new to the accessories market, offering some awesome alternative print bags. My favourite has to be galaxy (obv), which comes in a variety of colours. Spiral have other styles of bags and a few more accessories too so make sure you take a look at their site if that’s your kinda thing!

To accessorise, what would an outfit of mine be without a holographic shoe?? The erm, fifth pair of holo shoes to my collection are the New Look Koinery Irredescent Flats, again from ASOS. These babies were only £12.99 (plus I had a 10% off code too, bonus!) and are super comfy to wear. I love nothing more than wearing them in the sunshine to dazzle and blind passers by… ha ha!

For jewellery I went with my Cooee neon green Nut Cuff. Cooee are a brand I discovered a few years ago, they’re a Scandanavian company that offer amazing luxe perspex jewellery – check out their site and you’ll see what I mean 🙂

I’d added nail polishes in I’m Addicted (turquoise) and Sittin’ Pretty (purple) by Essie, and Sun Hat (pink) by Models Own to complement the look. The spiky necklace, headband and bracelet, all pretty old and from Topshop.

Ok I know some people might think this look is a bit much, but it really is my style to a T! I’m a firm believer that fashion should be fun, and should be experimented with!

As ever, lemme know what you think – do you like? Or is this just toooo much galaxy for you?? 😉 xxx

Azuni London Jewellery GIVEAWAY!

Posted on September 17, 2014

Hi Guys!

After recently discovering Azuni London it’s fast becoming one of my favourite jewellery sites. I have the gorgeous Etrusca Necklace – it’s a fabulously intricately constructed pendant, made in 24k gold plate. A stunning 6mm green onyx stone dangles in the centre of an open circle featuring delicate granulation detailing, and the pretty pendant is hung from a delicate gold plated chain. I love this necklace so much, it’s so unusual!

If you haven’t hear of Azuni London, the company was created by Ashley Marshall, who uses techniques such as hand texturing, beading, engraving and oxidising to add a unique edge to his designs with many pieces brought to life with delicate semi precious stones. Ashley gathers his inspiration from many different sources and interprets it into eclectic, individual pieces of jewellery.

There is also a story behind every Azuni collection. The beautifully hand textured Luna pieces have been delicately created to resemble the moon’s surface, whilst the passionate Love Twist range is reminiscent of the tattoos worn by sailors leaving their loved ones to go off to sea. From achingly romantic, via edgy, retro and bohemian cool, there is an effortlessly stylish Azuni collection to suit any mood.

Azuni London would like to give away an item of your choice from their site to one lucky reader. (I know, I’m spoiling you with all these giveaways lately!) To take part in the giveaway simply enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway is open internationally and will run for two weeks. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and good luck! xxx

Lily Kamper | Jewellery Spotlight

Posted on July 17, 2014

Hi Guys!

I just have a quick post for you today – I’ve come across some amazing jewellery and had to share it with you! Lily Kamper’s AW14 collection is simply stunning. It’s futuristic, it’s unusual, it’s luxe, and oh so colourful – it ticks all the boxes for me! Lily creates pieces with classic marble and contemporary dyed perspex to produce a striking, futuristic trademark look.

Inspired by the iridescent outer glow of the moon, photographs of the Earth at night and elaborate marble stairways, Lily has created a range that’s as curious as it is cutting edge. Lily’s hand dyed columns have been updated with some gorgeous colour ways including; matte emerald green with cracked black marbling, purple mixed with grey, yellow and midnight blue.

The range is fabulously diverse, with a considered collection of bracelets and rings as well as Lily’s column pendants in a range of shapes and sizes, from tiny to more robust, to create a collection that’s varied yet wearable. I have to say I really can’t get enough of this collection! Please let me know what you think! xxx
