New Skincare Brand Exclusive: Eloquence Beauty

Posted on November 22, 2015

Hi Guys!

I hope you’re having a great weekend? I’ve been having a busy Sunday catching up with blogging, photography and trying to tidy my ever-messy house. I thought I’d share some details with you this evening about a brand new and exciting skincare company that’s only just hit the market – Eloquence Beauty.

Eloquence offer natural, premium skin care products designed to enhance skin, hair and nails, and their focus is on anti-ageing, skin hydration and skin health – whilst offering the consumer value for money. They pride themselves on sourcing the finest ingredients such as Sachi Inchi Oil – known for its high levels of vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids. This oil helps to restore the skins’ elasticity and combat dehydration, as well as fighting against premature ageing by intensely nourishing and protecting the skin from environmental stressors. Eloquence have included this wonder ingredient in all their products.

Eloquence Beauty also enlisted the help and advice of an esteemed Pharmaceutical Product Development Manager to develop their products to be natural and beneficial, as well as luxurious yet affordable for all.

It’s also worth noting that Eloquence’s products contain no artificial perfume or colour and no harsh chemicals, which makes them suitable for all skin types.

So let’s take a look at the products!

  • Purifying Facial Cleanser 20ml

This Purifying cream Cleanser contains Cucumber and Coconut extract to leave skin feeling cleansed and refreshed without any tightness. My skin tends to be on the dry side, and that tight feeling you sometimes get after cleansing is a bit of a bugbear of mine. I’ll be reporting back soon on how this performs – fingers crossed it works well for me.

  • Firm & Tone Serum 20ml

The Firm & Tone Serum incorporates Glycerin and Coconut oil to help illuminate the complexion and give a flawless appearance. Hyaluronic Acid has also been added to this product give a boost of collagen, which helps skin to feel plump, smooth and supple.

  • Firming & Moisturising Eye Gel 15ml

This Firming & Moisturising Eye Gel targets dark circles and puffiness – it sounds like just what I need! This product also has added Hyaluronic acid to help keep the eye area plump whilst smoothing out any fine lines.

  • Nourishing Treatment Oil 50ml

The Eloquence Nourishing Treatment Oil has been specifically blended with Coconut and Sweet Almond Oil to help to renew, repair and revitalise skin, hair and nails. I’m a big fan of face oils so I’m really hoping I’ll love this product!

  • Protect & Repair 24HR Cream 20ml

And lastly the Protect and Repair 24 hour cream – which also has added Hyaluronic Acid – this is perfect to use during the day to not only condition skin but to also give UVA & UVB protection, or even at night to hydrate and replenish skin while you sleep.

The Body Shop Oils of Life Collection

Posted on November 2, 2015

Hi Guys!

It’s actually been a while since I’ve used products from The Body Shop, and I’ve now officially fallen in love with them all over again. This is the brand new Oils of Life collection…

The Oils Of Life collection is a brand new set of facial skincare products infused with black cumin seed oil, rosehip seed oil and camellia seed oil, known for their supreme revitalising and repairing properties on skin. These products have been created to intensely revitalise skin, revive radiance and leave your skin feeling nourished.

This collection includes four skincare products, and a fantastic looking facial massager – which I don’t have unfortunately, I really want to try it though!

So let’s talk a bit about oils… oils can have so many benefits for the skin, such as maintaining hydration (as oils prevent loss of water). They can be used for cleansing, many are lightweight and easily absorbed, and oils with anti-bacterial, anti-microbal and anti-fungal properties can also help to reduce breakouts.

It’s a well known myth that you should steer away from oils if your skin is oily – just to reiterate, this is a myth. Just listen to skincare guru Caroline Hirons who will explain all about oils a lot better than I ever could. – She also uses the fab looking facial massager I mentioned above –

Personally, I’m a big fan of facial oils, as my skin tends to be dry, it always feels so much plumper and just better all round after using oil products. Let’s take a look at the collection…

  • Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil (£28.00)

This is a beautifully presented lightweight daily facial oil, infused with cold-pressed seed oils that promise to give new life to your skin. And give new life it does! I’ve used this a few times now and each time my skin feels instantly nourished, as well as looking brighter and revived. The oil itself is beautifully lightweight and quickly-absorbed into the skin, with a non-sticky finish.

  • Intensely Revitalising Bi-Phase Essence Lotion (£15.00)

So for those that don’t know, ‘bi-phase’ means an oil + water based product – so it’s important to shake well before use as the two parts will separate in the bottle. This Essence Lotion has a wonderfully lightweight and refreshing texture, and it instantly absorbs into the skin, leaving my complexion softer, smoother and more radiant.

  • Intensely Revitalising Cream (£25.00)

This is a lovely soft daily cream designed to both replenish and revitalise skin. This cream sinks into the skin, leaving it feeling plumped and nourished, with a light, non greasy finish. Over time, The Body Shop advises that signs of ageing will appear reduced too – bonus!

What a fantastic collection! If your skin is a bit lacklustre at the moment and in need of a boost – as many of us will be due to the change in weather, I highly recommend trying some of The Oils of Life Collection – you won’t be disappointed.

The Oils of Life Collection is available now from The Body Shop.

I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx

Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate

Posted on July 31, 2015

Hi Guys!

Before I get started with today’s product overview, I thought I’d just ask, if you’re a blogger, are you signed up to Klout? If you haven’t heard of Klout, in simple terms it’s a way to measure your social media influence. It tracks your activity and interactions on social media and awards you a score. I must admit I very rarely check my Klout page, and haven’t had anyone ask for my score, but the reason I’m bringing this up is because Klout also occasionally give you ‘Perks’. I had an email about a week ago saying I was eligible for a new ‘perk’ from Kiehl’s. I logged into my account and was greeted with the following message –

Ahead of the Nationwide launch in August, Kiehl’s are delighted to invite you to try NEW Daily Reviving Concentrate, for revived & energised skin from morning to night!

Well how exciting and unexpected is that! Of course I took up the offer and my beautifully packaged parcel arrived about a week later. I thought I’d mention this because it would definitely be worth signing up to Klout if you haven’t already!

Anyway, onto the product! If you’re a fan of Kiehl’s, you should already be aware of their best-selling Midnight Recovery Concentrate, which promises youthful looking skin when you wake up in the morning. Well Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate is basically the day version of this product. It’s a lightweight facial oil designed to keep skin looking radiant all day long.

It promises to strengthen skin’s defenses against daily aggressors to keep your complexion youthful and radiant-looking all day. It also provides antioxidant protection with a powerful blend of naturally-derived oils, including Ginger Root, Sunflower and Tamanu, to help skin feel fresh and look energized morning to night. And it’s paraben free, of 100% natural origin, mineral oil free, non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic.

Kiehl’s recommend you lightly pat several drops all over face in upward circular motion (avoiding the immediate eye area) in the morning after your serum and before moisturiser. I’ve used this a few times now and I’m loving it so far! My skin definitely benefits from a bit of TLC, especially when I’m tired and bleary-eyed in the morning, and this is perfect for making your complexion look a bit more alive and radiant whilst leaving skin super soft – it’s definitely a welcome addition to my morning routine!

I’d love to hear if you’re a fan of Kiehl’s? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
