Beauty News & Gossip 20/02/2017: Illamasqua, Z Palette, Maybelline & More!

Posted on February 20, 2017

Hi Guys!

It’s been at least a couple of weeks since my last Beauty News update and literally SO much has happened since then. Read on to find out my highlights of the latest beauty news and gossip…

So first up, Illamasqua have taken a stand against Trump and fascism – and I’m not surprised at all. If any brand was going to do it, I think most would have predicted it to be Illamasaqua. Their ‘Anti-Fascism Pledge’ states that they ‘will never knowingly sell products to people who support President Trump’s values’ – and though I know many people will take the side of ‘this is just makeup, Illamasqua should be neutral’, I personally disagree and I love that Illamasqua are standing up publicly for what they believe in. What do you think?

In other news, you’ve probably heard by now about the recent Z Palette drama. If not, to cut a long story short, basically Z Palette have brought out a new electronic device for de-potting product, which people questioned and criticised on Instagram, and rather than replying politely and dealing with their potential customers concerns, whoever was looking after Z Palette’s Instagram went a little bit completely crazy and started spewing out insults like they were going out of fashion, leaving a lot of people very unhappy. It seems obvious that a brand should always deal with any criticism, not matter how harsh, constructively, carefully, and always treat people with respect on social sites. I think they’ve just managed to lose a LOT of customers.

Ok so let’s take a look at some exciting new and upcoming launches now. This MAC Rolerwheel Liquid Eyeliner really caught my eye this week, and I think the idea could actually be amazing if it actually works. The little roller wheel is in the style of a pizza cutter, with the wheel applying a continuous line of eyeliner. I can’t wait to try these when it launches – I think it’s either going to end up being a massive hit or a complete flop.

And following from the L’Oreal X Beauty & The Beast collaboration, it looks like Lorac will be collaborating with the upcoming Pirates of the Carribean movie. The packaging looks pretty awesome and I’m looking forward to finding out about the products, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Jeffree Star has also recently launched his latest palette – the Androgyny palette has been in the works for a long time now, and Jeffree has been hinting about it for months. Now it’s been revealed though, I I have to say feel a bit underwhelmed. I’m not sure what I was expecting exactly but I just feel this is a bit ‘meh’. What do you think?

And on that note Jeffree has also hinted on Twitter that a highlighter palette is also in the works – now this does excite me and I can’t wait to see what that looks like!

It also looks like metallic lip finishes are going to be a big thing this year. After what seems like an eternity of matte liquid lipsticks being at the forefront of trends, there’s now a load of brands coming up with intensely pigmented metallic finish lip products. Smashbox have now launched their Be Legendary Liquid Pigments across the pond, and I think the silver and blue shades look pretty awesome.

And for those on more of a budget, Maybelline will also be launching a Metallic Lipsticks collection in July. I’m not overly wowed by the look of these swatches, but maybe they’re fab in real life? I’m looking forward to finding out.

And of course MAC had to get in on the game with their own Metallic Lipsticks – and I have to say these look pretty stunning – I hope they look as good on the lips as they do on the bullet.

Anastasia are also bringing out new glow kit with Nicole Guerriero – the shades look really pretty, but I think most of them would be too dark for my super fair skin unfortunately.

Too Faced has some amazing looking products coming out in March too. There’s a massive Natural Love eyeshadow palette, three high shine Love Light Highlighters, and five new shades of Melted Matte lipsticks. I need to get my hands on those highlighters!

There’s also buzz that Too Faced will be launching some sort of holographic collection. Owner Jerrod shared some metallic pastel swatches recently which look so pretty!

On the same note, I also had to mention the upcoming BH Cosmetics BackLight Highlighter Palette. We don’t really hear much of BH Cosmetics in the UK (but they are available at Beauty Bay in case you were wondering) These swatches just look so beautiful – very much like the Kat Von D highlighter palette but with a larger range of shades. This is something I’ll definitely be picking up when I can get my hands on it.

Trendmood have also hinted at a collaboration between Pat Mcgrath and Kim Kardashian – I wonder what they could be up to?

And lastly, I was thrilled to hear that some of my favourite beauty bloggers have teamed up with L’Oreal Paris to launch a range brand new Matte Addition lipsticks. What’s especially awesome about this is that most of these aren’t your typical ‘big bloggers’ that are pretty much household names these days. These girls are ‘micro bloggers’ and just as amazing in their own right as some of the biggest names in the industry. It’s makes me so happy that smaller bloggers are now being recognised – well done girls!

Beauty: Limited Edition Too Faced X Skinnydip Collaboration Makeup Bag Set

Posted on February 7, 2017

Hi Guys!

Us bloggers are very lucky to receive some amazing products to try out and share with our readers, and of course, some of these products will appeal to us more than others. So when the post arrived yesterday and I opened one of the packages to find a Too Faced X Skinnydip makeup bag, my heart did a little dance!

Too Faced and Skinnydip are two of my favourite ever brands, and them teaming up for a collaboration is just a match made in heaven if you ask me!

The new limited edition Too Faced X Skinnydip makeup bag is a good sized bag that’s big enough to fit all your essentials in (including your favourite Too Faced palette) and it’s made with a clear rubber material with glitter particles in it. It’s covered in pictures of Too Faced makeup, hearts, bows and Too Faced’s owners Jerrod Blandino’s super cute dog Clover. It also has a gold zip with the gold Skinnydip logo on the side.

Inside the bag you get a Too Faced original Chocolate Bar palette, a full sized Better Than Sex Mascara, a super cute mini Love Flush Blusher in shade Justify My Love, and a mini Melted Chocolate Lipstick in shade Honey.

The set has a value of £92.00 but costs a very reasonable £50.00. It’s a limited edition and will only be available until 09/02/17 directly from Too Faced. Or, you can buy the makeup bag on it’s own now for £14.00 at Skinnydip where there are two slightly different styles available.

Beauty News & Gossip 11/01/17: Jeffree Star, Huda Beauty, Too Faced & More!

Posted on January 11, 2017

Hi Guys!

It’s been quite a while since I published my last Beauty News & Gossip post, but you guys have told me that you like them, so I thought I’d start up the series again. I’m aiming to post on a weekly basis covering all the latest hot beauty news, influencer gossip and exciting new releases – enjoy!

Ok so I woke up this morning and the first thing I saw on my social feeds is that Jeffree Star has destroyed a $5.5k Chanel bag on his Youtube channel. Him and his BFF Manny MUA got together to cut up some makeup products with hot knives (as you do) just for LOLs, and Jeffree decided to take it one step further and mutilate a Chanel Boy bag from his collection. By the looks of things this has been one of his most viewed videos in such a short space of time since publishing, and comments have been falling in one of two very distinct camps – Jeffree fans are saying (very rightly so) that ‘it’s his money he can do what he likes with it’ but people are also saying (again very rightly so) comments along the lines of ‘people are starving in this world, and he chooses to do this..’. I totally agree that he can do what he likes with his own things, but he might as well be burning a $5k wad of cash for the sake of gaining views, which in my opinion is in very poor taste – but then would we expect anything else from Jeffree Star?? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this.

In other Jeffree Star news, he’s also recently announced that his much anticipated Androgyny Palette will be launching in March. The teasers above shows his second palette has a deep pink textured casing with gold lettering, and the eyeshadows look like they’re going to be a big hit with fans – there appears to be a range of intensely coloured warm matte shades included (judging by the colours Jeffree is wearing above) and I think it will be a total sell out.

You may have also noticed recently that Manny MUA is collaborating with Maybelline on their Big Shot Mascara campaign. I noticed this on Twitter when the ad first launched and didn’t really give it too much thought. Then it popped up again on Facebook via a BBC news article, I noticed there were thousands and thousands of comments, so thought I’d take a moment to look through. Oh my gosh, the public has had such a strong reaction to this, I really was quite shocked. It was very divided, with a disturbing amount of people being absolutely horrified that a man is wearing makeup (I mean, really?), but luckily there were plenty of positive comments too which appeared to outnumber the negative. It really does worry me how people can be so close minded – we’re in 2017 for Christ’s sake! I think it’s a great collab, and Manny is the perfect influencer to team up with Maybelline – maybe this just seems obvious to me though because I’m part of the beauty community? I don’t know, I think attitudes are changing, but we still have definitely a long way to go. I also think it’s a very clever marketing move on Maybelline’s part – what better way to get your beauty brand talked about across every media channel than to do something ‘controversial’ like having a male in full makeup as the star of the campaign – what do you think?

What would a news and gossip post be without Jaclyn Hill!? It looks like Jaclyn is coming out with another new collaboration within the next two months. She’s not giving away much at the moment but we know it’s an eyeshadow palette, and it’s in collaboration with a brand – maybe Becca again? Or maybe someone new?

I never managed to get my hands on the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Eyeshadow palette – though it looks stunning I just couldn’t justify the expense. She’s now teasing fans with the outer packaging of her upcoming Highlighter Palette – I can’t wait to see what’s inside, I bet it’s going to be stunning!

And lastly when it comes to influencers, it looks like Too Faced’s lasted collab will be with Youtuber Kandee Johnson. As a big Too faced fan I can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with together 😀

On to new products now, and you may have noticed that Too Faced is busting out new products like there’s no tomorrow right now, and I’ve just caught wind of yet another gorgeous looking launch – their beautiful Lovelight Highlighters will be coming in March this year – don’t they look gorgeous!

Anastasia has also just launched their first Lip Palette, which is perfect for those that like to experiment with lip shades and change their look frequently. This palette contains a large selection of lipsticks as well as primary colours and black and white shades, so you can pretty much come up with any colour imaginable! This is available now on the Anastasia US site but not yet on the Anastasia UK site.

After visiting New York last year on a press trip, and spending rather a lot of time in Sephora, I discovered Milk Makeup. I have their Cooling Water and Holographic Stick, both of which I love. And I recently heard about their brand new Blur Stick – it’s just now launched at Sephora, and it promised to blur skin’s imperfections to give you a ‘real life filter effect’. I really love the sound of this.

The brand that only a few months ago brought us the original Unicorn Makeup brushes (I have them but can’t bring myself to use them!) has recently announced an upcoming collection of Mermaid makeup brushes! Above you can see the original artist sketches for the brushes, it also says they’re now going into production, so watch this space for news of the launch date.

And oh my gosh, the Lancome Rose Collection is EVERYTHING. The highlighter is shaped like an actual rose and it’s just so beautiful! There’s also a limited edition brush to go with it, as well as a palette and a few other products in the collection. These are all available now on the Lancome US site. I can’t wait till it’s available in the UK!

And lastly, I also wanted to mention that that Kat Von D Pastel Goth Palette is available now at Sephora – as with all of Kat’s products this palette looks pretty awesome, it’s going on my wish list right now 🙂

I’d love to hear what you think about the latest news and gossip? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Christmas: Stunning Luxury Beauty & Fragrance Gifts

Posted on December 20, 2016

Hi Guys!

I’ve just finished the final instalment of my Christmas beauty gift guides – and I think I’ve definitely saved the best till last! This guide is all about luxury fragrance, makeup and skincare, where no price is too high. I hope you enjoy!

Starting with the Benefit Blushin’ Babe Set – this limited edition palette contains five of Benefit’s famous cheek & face powders, as well as signature tips and tricks leaflet to show you how to wear them, and also a They’re Real Mascara, Eyeliner and Watt’s up highlighter. Everything in this set is in mini form, making an affordable way to try before committing to purchasing full sized products.

For fragrance, Annick Goutal Les Absolus Rose Oud EDP is a stunning luxury scent, described as a new interpretation of some the finest raw materials in perfumery – Agarwood and Turkish rose, Les Absolus Rose Oud is both a unique and sensual fragrance. The perfume combines coriander and cardamom for a spicy freshness, leading to a sensual heart of Turkish rose. Oud and incense leave a woody, mysterious and enveloping trail, rounding out this captivating scent.

Another beautiful luxury scent is Elie Saab Nuit Noor – a perfume of contrasts. Beirut, the muse behind this new fragrance, is an icon of modernity in the Middle East and a city revered for its captivating contrasts. One of these is its light – noor in Arabic – that reflects off the sea and city, to set the velvety night sky aglow. Light shines through in a honeyed bouquet of soft Rose made still more radiant by the essence of Ylang-ylang. And, to conjure the night, an accord of spicy, woody notes run throughout the composition in Black Pepper and Incense, across a majestic backdrop of Indonesian Patchouli. This scent is simply stunning!

And Serge Lutens Baptême du feu EDP – translating to Baptism of Fire, this woody scent is a wonderful unisex accord, interestingly inspired by combat. Sitting somewhere between good and evil, this is a fiery scent with addictive notes of gingerbread, powdery notes, tangerine, castoreum and osmanthus. A must try for fans of Serge Lutens.

And I had to include the stunning, Penhaligon’s Oud de Nil EDP – part of Penhaligon’s Trade Routes Collection, Oud de Nil is most definitely a tribute to Ancient Egypt in all its fragrant glory. It takes you on an olfactory cruise down the Nile, with crisp notes of grapefruit and bergamot combined with rich jasmine, oud and papyrus. Not as heavy as you’d expect, this delicate fragrance is perfect for both day and night.

Back to makeup now, with the YSL Extremely Set – this stunning palette arrives housed in a glossy red case which can be re-used after the products are gone. Inside is a beautiful make-up palette offering enough products to give a full eyes, lips and cheeks makeover – there are four eyeshadows, a highlighter, two blushers, three lip shades, a lip gloss, a mini mascara and mini brushes included.

The NARS ASOS Exclusive Orgasm Blush & Illuminator Set really needs no introduction – with Orgasm being one of the most iconic blush shades ever made, this gorgeous set contains a full sized Orgasm Blush, as well as a mini Illuminator, in striking limited edition packaging.

On to skincare now with a couple more high end treats – the 111Skin Space Anti Age Emulsion is a powerful moisturiser that aims to combat signs of ageing and keep skin hydrated, leaving you with a radiant, revitalised complexion. Enriched with vitamins to repair skin, the luxurious moisturiser promotes collagen production and contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid to retain moisture levels and plump skin for a youthful look.

And the 111Skin Space Anti Oxidant Booster utilises an advanced, anti-ageing formula that delivers an extra boost of vital antioxidants to revive your skin and protect from environmental aggressors. The concentrated blend combines vitamin C with flavonoid rich Grape seed extract to prevent premature ageing and create a defence barrier against daily pollution.

And what would luxury beauty gifting be without a high end lipstick? The YSL Rouge Pur Couture Matte Lipsticks would make fantastic Christmas gifts or stocking fillers. These beautifully packaged lipsticks promise to saturate lips with intense, stay-true colour, with medium to full coverage, and a radiant, satin finish for up to 6 hours wear.

The Nude By Nature Complexion Essentials Starter Kit is a fantastic set for those interested in trying out Nude by Nature products – which really are underrated. This set contains a selection of mini sized base products, giving you the perfect opportunity to get a feel for the brand. This beautifully presented set includes a Perfecting primer, Perfecting Concealer, Loose Powder Foundation, Loose Powder Bronzer, Translucent Loose Finishing Powder and an application brush – all housed in a leather look and rose gold case.

I just had to include the Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe in this guide – this gorgeous set opens to reveal three Christmas coffee scented palettes – Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Coffee, and Eggnog Latte. Each palette contains six eyeshadows in both matte and shimmer finishes, one large face product pan (either a blush or bronzer) and the set also contains a deluxe size Better Than Sex Mascara and a step-by-step how-to Glamour Guide with three beauty looks to get you started.

And finally back to NARS again. This is the gorgeous NARS Blame It On Nars Cheek Palette – this is a stunning exclusive palette containing four cult-favorite shades: the gilded Satellite of Love Highlighter, two limited-edition provocative pinks—Day Dream and New Attitude—and the iconic burnished Casino Bronzing Powder, paired with a mini Kabuki Ita Brush and expressive keepsake palette for literally turning cheeks!

Beauty: New Releases from Too Faced – Sketch Markers / Melted Mattes / Lip Injection Glosses

Posted on October 25, 2016

too-faced-new-products

Hi Guys!

You may have noticed that things have been a bit quiet on the blog lately – well I’ve moved house! It all happened a bit suddenly but we’re finally in our gorgeous new house, and I’ll have a post up shortly telling you all about it 🙂

Back to beauty now though – I am just LOVING all the new beauty releases that are launching lately, and I’m so glad that all the gorgeous Too Faced products I’ve been lusting over for God knows how many months have finally arrived in the UK. Let’s take a look at some of their newest products…

too-faced-sketch-markers-review

Starting with the Sketch Markers (£17.00) – I’ve been dying to get my hands on these from as soon as I first heard about them. As an eyeliner fan, I love anything that’s colourful, quirky and fun – and these Sketch Markers definitely tick all these boxes! Described an advanced liquid eyeliner inspired by Japanese Calligraphy Pens, the formula of these pen style eyeliners promises to create an exceptionally smooth, vivid, and waterproof line.

too-faced-sketch-markers-swatches

Firstly, the packaging is SO on point. These eyeliners are just super cute and really look like colouring pens, and have cute little heart shaped details on the lids which I love. The pens themselves have a typical flexible felt-pen style tip, which allows you to easily create very fine as well as thick lines.

Shade Candy Pink was actually more pigmented than I expected. I imagined it to be quite sheer and watery but luckily I was wrong. Now don’t get me wrong, these aren’t the most pigmented eyeliners I’ve ever used, but for a baby pink shade, I think this came out really well, as well as having a nice matte finish when dry. I really want to grab a few more of the coloured shades now – there are 12 to choose from which include pastels as well as brights, and I have my eye on shades Steel Blue and Deep Lilac next.

too-faced-lip-injection-glossy-review

Next we have the Lip Injection Glossy Lip Gloss (£17.00) – Ok so you know when you buy a ‘lip plumping’ product, and you don’t really get your hopes up. You apply it, your lips tingle a bit and that’s it? I must admit I was kind of expecting that with the Lip Injection Glosses, but how wrong was I! I’m not even kidding you when I say my lips were visibly plumper – I mean you could actually easily tell they looked bigger. I was completely shocked!

The new Lip Injection Glosses come in six shades, of which I have two nudes – Angel Kisses, and Milkshake. Both are very sheer with just a tint of colour, and as I already said, they really do plump the lips – better than any other product I’ve tried so far!

too-faced-matte-lipsticks-review

too-faced-melted-matte-swatches

And lastly the Melted Matte Lipsticks (£19.00) – I’m a big fan of Too Faced’s original Melted Lipsticks, so I couldn’t wait to try out their new Melted Mattes. These liquid lipsticks promise to glide over lips like a gloss but dry down to an ultra-matte opaque finish – and indeed they do exactly that!

The formula comes infused with a no-sting lip plumper and filler, to ensure the colour always looks rich, full, and kissable. I have shades Bend & Snap! and Who’s Zoomin Who, both you can see are fantastically well pigmented – the above swatches show them in the process of drying down, which only takes a couple of minutes. I’m in love with Who’s Zoomin Who, it’s just such an unusual, deep inky blue. I’m thinking of putting together a makeup look with this, and maybe the pink eyeliner? Let me know if you’d like to see that!

too-faced-melted-matte-lipstick-review

Overall I’m really impressed with Too faced’s latest selection of products – I can’t wait to try out some of their Christmas releases next, and word on the street is they’re collaborating with one of my favourite accessory brands, Skinnydip, in early 2017 – I’m really excited for that!

Too Faced products are available in the UK at Debenhams.

My NYC Sephora Haul! Feat. Kat Von D, Milk Makeup, Tatcha, Becca & More!

Posted on September 19, 2016

sephora-haul-new-york

Hi Guys!

Any beauty lover will know that one of your priorities when visiting the US is of course, Sephora. Visiting New York was my first ever visit to the US, so I had my first ever Sephora store experience too!

For those yet to experience this pleasure, I have to tell you it’s actually quite overwhelming – especially for a small town gal like me who gets excited visiting Selfridges! Sephora is literally floor to ceiling beauty – so I decided to tackle it with a strategy – basically if the brand was available in the UK, I didn’t bother looking. So I headed for all the exciting US brands that I’ve been dying to get my hands on – Kat Von D, MILK Makeup, Anastasia and Sephora’s own brand to name but a few. Let’s take a look at what I picked up…

kat-von-d-products-sephora

So first of all I headed for Kat Von D (and yes I know we have it in the UK now, but it wasn’t available here when I was in NYC!) I really liked the look of the new Lock-it Concealer Creme – a super-versatile, rich and creamy concealer with 24-hour wear and instant full coverage. It promised to brighten the undereye area, cover blemishes and correct discolouration which was exactly what I was looking for. I got Hayley to help shade match me and ended up with shade Light 3 Warm. I started using this while in NYC and I have to say I was very impressed, it did a great job of covering my under eye circles as well as staying put throughout the day. I picked up the Lock-It Edge Concealer Brush too – described as ‘a high-performance concealer brush with an exclusive sculpted shape to seamlessly blend under eye concealer and instantly cover blemishes‘ I thought this would be the perfect match for the Lock-It Concealer. It’s just the right size and shape for concealer coverage on the under eye area, and applies product like a dream.

While I was at it I thought I’d also grab the Kat Von D Lockit Setting Powder too – you know, when in Rome! This is a weightless translucent loose powder, formulated with Micro-Blurring Technology to blur pores and set and perfect makeup for a flawless, locked-in finish. This is probably the most lightweight and silky finishing powder I’ve ever tried – it leaves your complexion velvety matte and smooth – and you can also use it for baking if that’s part of your routine too.

milk-makeup-holographic-highlighter

I’d also been dying to try some bits from MILK Makeup – they had quite a big range on offer, and I decided to pick up a couple of quirky sounding products…

Firstly I grabbed the Milk Makeup Cooling Water – this is basically a twist up stick that you apply to the face to cool, soothe and hydrate the skin. I tried it on the back of my hand and the cooling effect really worked! The product contains rich marine minerals and caffeine to hydrate, whilst give skin an energized, glowing look.

And the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick – well, I’d heard of this and thought it sounded fantastic, so I popped it in my basket too. Technically this doesn’t give a holographic highlight, but it does give skin an iridescent lavender sheen, which is really fun and pretty. Also, you can use it wherever you like – lips, eyes, cheeks – I’m looking forward to creating some fun looks with this!

sephora-collection-hide-and-sleek-skinny-cheek-contour-brush

I then checked out Sephora’s massive own brand range, and they literally stock everything! I loved the look of their retractable Hide & Sleek brushes, which come in high shine metallic casings with lids so they don’t get ruined in your makeup bag. I grabbed the Skinny Cheek Contour Brush – a retractable cheek contour brush in a slim and elegant rose gold case, and the Skinny Foundation Retractable Brush – a chic retractable foundation brush this time in gold casing.

tatcha-polished-classic-rice-enzyme-powderr

I’m also really glad I came across the Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder – I’d been wanting to snap this up for a while, but the full size tub is $60.00 – eek! I found this mini 10g tub which was only $15.00 and very much in my price range. If you haven’t heard of Tatcha, they offer luxury skincare inspired by Japanese Geishas – you should definitely check them out if skincare’s your thing. Their Classic Rice Enzyme Powder is a creamy, water-activated enzyme powder that effortlessly releases debris from skin, leaving it feeling polished and baby soft in an instant. It’s formulated with nourishing Japanese rice bran blended with papaya extracts, to help reduce the look of fine lines and addresses uneven skintone, hyperpigmentation, and breakouts. I’m looking forward to giving this a go!

And while I was checking out all the amazing mini products and sets that Sephora has to offer, I came across the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Opal Glow On The Go Set – this is a mini duo of BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector luminizers. I love Becca’s highlighters and these mini pressed and liquid Shimmering Skin Perfectors in Opal just looked so cute – as well as being the perfect size to throw in my bag.

And lastly, I couldn’t resist the Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip Set – this is a six-piece, multibranded lip sampler set, including two full size products, and it was only $28.00 with a  total product value of $97.00! –

  • Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer rosy tint)
  • Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lovecraft (mauve pink nude)
  • Lancôme Juicy Shaker in 313 Boom-Meringue (lemon meringue flavor – full size)
  • NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien (rose pink)
  • Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out (deep nude – full size)
  • Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua (dusty mauve)

By this point I’d tried mentally adding up how much I was spending and decided I’d better calm down a bit. I quickly glanced at Anastasia, Surratt and in the general direction of skincare and fragrance and decided I’d better head to the checkout before I got too carried away.

So yes I ended up spending quite a lot of money… but I don’t regret it. It’s not every day I get to pop into an actual Sephora store, so I’m glad I made the most of it while I had the chance!

Do let me know if you’d like to see any swatches, or full reviews of anything – this post ended up being quite long so I decided not to include swatches this time 🙂
