Beauty: YSL Beauty Brow Wardrobe for Fair Hair

Posted on June 9, 2017

Hi Guys!

It’s Friday at last and I’ve been rushing around trying to sort the house out and do last minute prep for mine and Freddy’s fancy dress birthday party tomorrow! I literally can’t wait! So things are a bit crazy here right now, but I thought I’d leave you with a little look at some of the latest products to launch from YSL – welcome to the YSL Beauty Brow Wardrobe, specifically for those with fair hair…

Starting with the Couture Brow Palette (£35.00) – this is a super handy little palette, including three powder shades, and a mini brush and tweezers. This palette comes in two colour options and I have 01 Light which is perfect for those with fair hair. The mini brush has stiff, angled bristles which are great for applying just the right amount of product to the brows with precision, whilst keeping the hairs in check – and this palette is also just the right size for throwing in your makeup bag when you’re on the go. You might think three separate shades are a bit excessive, but I love that you can mix and match them to create exactly the brow look you desire.

Next I have the Dessin Des Sourcils Pencil (£21.00) – this is a deluxe dual ended precision pencil that fills in and defines brows with ease, for a natural no-fuss look. The formula is smooth but firm, and glides on effortlessly to give you gorgeously groomed brows. I have shade 3 Marron Glace, which is a light taupe brown, perfect for both blondes and redheads.

Next the Couture Brow (£22.00) which is basically a mascara for your brows – very much like Benefit’s Gimme Brow, this product has a subtle gloss finish, which gives a natural volume to the brow hairs. Couture Brow has a buildable formula made of gelifying fixators and semi opaque pigments which adapt to your brow hair colour, offering optimal comfort and ultra-long hold. Couture Brow promises to last for 24 hours, allowing you to fix, structure and intensify your brows to be just as natural or as dramatic as you wish. For me, this product gives a nice, natural defined look, that’s quick to apply giving an instant full brow effect. I have shade 02 Ash Blonde, which I think would work well for those with light blonde hair.

And lastly the Couture Brow Marker (£21.00) – as you can probably guess, this is a felt tip marker pen, which gives precise control over application. This is perfect for those looking for a more intense, perfected brow, with a defined shape. The Couture Brow Marker leaves brows looking full and thick, and fills in any gaps within seconds. I have shade 01 Light Brown, which is quite a warm toned mid brown colour.

And here are some swatches, from the top you have the Couture Brow, then the Couture Brow Marker in the middle, and the Dessins Des Sourcils pencil at the bottom.

I’d love to hear which brow products you’re using at the moment? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Christmas: Stunning Luxury Beauty & Fragrance Gifts

Posted on December 20, 2016

Hi Guys!

I’ve just finished the final instalment of my Christmas beauty gift guides – and I think I’ve definitely saved the best till last! This guide is all about luxury fragrance, makeup and skincare, where no price is too high. I hope you enjoy!

Starting with the Benefit Blushin’ Babe Set – this limited edition palette contains five of Benefit’s famous cheek & face powders, as well as signature tips and tricks leaflet to show you how to wear them, and also a They’re Real Mascara, Eyeliner and Watt’s up highlighter. Everything in this set is in mini form, making an affordable way to try before committing to purchasing full sized products.

For fragrance, Annick Goutal Les Absolus Rose Oud EDP is a stunning luxury scent, described as a new interpretation of some the finest raw materials in perfumery – Agarwood and Turkish rose, Les Absolus Rose Oud is both a unique and sensual fragrance. The perfume combines coriander and cardamom for a spicy freshness, leading to a sensual heart of Turkish rose. Oud and incense leave a woody, mysterious and enveloping trail, rounding out this captivating scent.

Another beautiful luxury scent is Elie Saab Nuit Noor – a perfume of contrasts. Beirut, the muse behind this new fragrance, is an icon of modernity in the Middle East and a city revered for its captivating contrasts. One of these is its light – noor in Arabic – that reflects off the sea and city, to set the velvety night sky aglow. Light shines through in a honeyed bouquet of soft Rose made still more radiant by the essence of Ylang-ylang. And, to conjure the night, an accord of spicy, woody notes run throughout the composition in Black Pepper and Incense, across a majestic backdrop of Indonesian Patchouli. This scent is simply stunning!

And Serge Lutens Baptême du feu EDP – translating to Baptism of Fire, this woody scent is a wonderful unisex accord, interestingly inspired by combat. Sitting somewhere between good and evil, this is a fiery scent with addictive notes of gingerbread, powdery notes, tangerine, castoreum and osmanthus. A must try for fans of Serge Lutens.

And I had to include the stunning, Penhaligon’s Oud de Nil EDP – part of Penhaligon’s Trade Routes Collection, Oud de Nil is most definitely a tribute to Ancient Egypt in all its fragrant glory. It takes you on an olfactory cruise down the Nile, with crisp notes of grapefruit and bergamot combined with rich jasmine, oud and papyrus. Not as heavy as you’d expect, this delicate fragrance is perfect for both day and night.

Back to makeup now, with the YSL Extremely Set – this stunning palette arrives housed in a glossy red case which can be re-used after the products are gone. Inside is a beautiful make-up palette offering enough products to give a full eyes, lips and cheeks makeover – there are four eyeshadows, a highlighter, two blushers, three lip shades, a lip gloss, a mini mascara and mini brushes included.

The NARS ASOS Exclusive Orgasm Blush & Illuminator Set really needs no introduction – with Orgasm being one of the most iconic blush shades ever made, this gorgeous set contains a full sized Orgasm Blush, as well as a mini Illuminator, in striking limited edition packaging.

On to skincare now with a couple more high end treats – the 111Skin Space Anti Age Emulsion is a powerful moisturiser that aims to combat signs of ageing and keep skin hydrated, leaving you with a radiant, revitalised complexion. Enriched with vitamins to repair skin, the luxurious moisturiser promotes collagen production and contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid to retain moisture levels and plump skin for a youthful look.

And the 111Skin Space Anti Oxidant Booster utilises an advanced, anti-ageing formula that delivers an extra boost of vital antioxidants to revive your skin and protect from environmental aggressors. The concentrated blend combines vitamin C with flavonoid rich Grape seed extract to prevent premature ageing and create a defence barrier against daily pollution.

And what would luxury beauty gifting be without a high end lipstick? The YSL Rouge Pur Couture Matte Lipsticks would make fantastic Christmas gifts or stocking fillers. These beautifully packaged lipsticks promise to saturate lips with intense, stay-true colour, with medium to full coverage, and a radiant, satin finish for up to 6 hours wear.

The Nude By Nature Complexion Essentials Starter Kit is a fantastic set for those interested in trying out Nude by Nature products – which really are underrated. This set contains a selection of mini sized base products, giving you the perfect opportunity to get a feel for the brand. This beautifully presented set includes a Perfecting primer, Perfecting Concealer, Loose Powder Foundation, Loose Powder Bronzer, Translucent Loose Finishing Powder and an application brush – all housed in a leather look and rose gold case.

I just had to include the Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe in this guide – this gorgeous set opens to reveal three Christmas coffee scented palettes – Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Coffee, and Eggnog Latte. Each palette contains six eyeshadows in both matte and shimmer finishes, one large face product pan (either a blush or bronzer) and the set also contains a deluxe size Better Than Sex Mascara and a step-by-step how-to Glamour Guide with three beauty looks to get you started.

And finally back to NARS again. This is the gorgeous NARS Blame It On Nars Cheek Palette – this is a stunning exclusive palette containing four cult-favorite shades: the gilded Satellite of Love Highlighter, two limited-edition provocative pinks—Day Dream and New Attitude—and the iconic burnished Casino Bronzing Powder, paired with a mini Kabuki Ita Brush and expressive keepsake palette for literally turning cheeks!

Six Must Have Fragrances for Spring

Posted on May 9, 2016

fragrances-for-spring

Hello again, and happy Monday!

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend in the sun? We had some nice family time this weekend, with a lovely walk around Redgrave Fen, and I’ve also managed to catch a cold as well as hay fever… enough about me though! I have some wonderful and simply must-have scents to share with you today – let me talk you through my Six Spring Must Have Fragrances for 2016…

ysl-black-opium-niut-blanche-review

Let’s start with YSL black Opium Nuit Blanche – if you loved the original YSL Black Opium, Nuit Blanche is a definite must have for you. This is a gorgeously sensual, warm and intoxicating fragrance, and without a doubt this is an evening scent, it’s very similar to the original Black Opium though not quite as heavy, and definitely sweeter. It also has the familiar signature base of Black Opium – the White Coffee Accord which I absolutely love. Black Opium Nuit Blanche opens with notes of Rice Vapour and spicy Bourbon Pepper, it has a heart of exhilaratingly fresh and sharp Orange Blossom Absolute, and warming White Musk, Vanilla Absolute and sensual Sandalwood Essence at the base.

YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche is priced from £45.OO for 30ML, and available at YSL Beauty now.

ck2-review

Next, in a complete contrast to the above YSL scent, we have CK2 EDT. Described as ‘gender-free fragrance for a man or a woman, without prejudices’, CK2 is fresh yet warm, clean and energetic. I feel Calvin Klein have described the scent very well with the term gender-free. It’s almost like wearing clean clothing – there’s nothing sweet and feminine, nor musky and masculine in this fragrance. CK2 is a celebration of diversity –

We come together void of stereotypes and free of conformity; a youthful connection between two people to celebrate the differences that make our connections richer and define what makes us,  us. Life is better when we are 2.

The fragrance opens with top notes of Mandarin, Violet Leaf Absolute, and surprisingly, Wasabi. The heart of Orris Concrete, Rose Absolute and Wet Cobblestones combines a rich sensuality, with a wet, mineral splash to give a warming freshness to the fragrance. The base of Vetiver and Incense blends with creamy Sandalwood and Musks to give a complexingly fresh, yet magnetic warmth to the scent.

CK2 is available now priced from £30.00 for 30ml at House of Fraser.

annick-goutal-rose-pompon-review

Next we have Annick Goutal Rose Pompon – I often think Annick Goutal fragrances can be overlooked, it’s not necessarily the brand that might jump out at you the most from the shelves, but if you haven’t experienced her fragrances before, I strongly recommend you do. Rose Pompon is the latest rose based scent from Annick Goutal, and it’s a current favourite of mine. It’s easily one of the best rose fragrances I’ve tried – and I’ve tried quite a few! Rose Pompon is a gorgeously easy to wear fruity rose scent. It’s surprisingly complex, modern and bold, with spicy notes of Pink Pepper and green sparkling Blackcurrant, opening with the velvety rich notes of Raspberry. The heart carries a duo of rose extracts – Bulgarian Rose and Taïf Rose which is a rare flower with a suave and sensual scent. The fragrance is sealed with a hint of Peony, woody Cedar and powdery Patchouli, followed by an exquisite note of White Musk.

Annick Goutal Rose Pompon EDT is priced from £59.00 for 50ml, and available now from John Lewis.

must-have-fragrances-for-spring-2016

diptyque-eau-des-sens-rview

And I had to include Diptyque Eau Des Sens – you may have noticed my Eau Des Sens Soap post a while back, I just couldn’t get enough of this scent, and now I’m completely in love with the EDP. Eau Des Sens is a beautifully warm and refreshing scent that’s perfect for the warmer weather.

Diptyque Eau Des Sens promises to bring you “the scent of the orange tree in its entirety, from the white petals of the orange blossom to the dark green leaves to the juicy, bitter Seville orange hanging off the branches” – and that’s exactly what it does. It has a wonderful juicy citrus opening – taking you straight to Italy. The scent is fresh and summery, with top notes of Orange Flower and Bitter Orange blending with Juniper Berry at the heart, and Angelica and earthy Patchouli combine perfectly at the woody base.

Again this is a unisex, or gender-free scent. This could literally be worn by anyone. It’s summery, fresh and vibrant. Fans of citrus, fans of Italy and of course fans of Diptyque will no doubt fall in love with this scent.

Diptyque Eau Des Sens EDP is from £60.00 for 50ml, and available now from John Lewis.

barbour-for-her-review

Next is Barbour For Her EDT – this is the first fragrance from Barbour, and it’s definitely a winner. I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this scent – Barbour as a brand to me is high end outwear, wax jackets, quilted coats, horses… so how does that interpret into a fragrance? Well Barbour For Her is just the perfect every day scent, I completely love it. I’ve had numerous people ask me what I was wearing when out and about with this scent on. It’s sweet, fresh and sophisticated. Opening with fresh, sparkling fruity notes of Red Currant, contrasted by spicy Pink Pepper, this scent contains a beautifully floral blend of Rose, Jasmine and Blush Peony at the heart, and sweet Vanilla combined with rich notes of Vetiver at the base. This really is a must have every day scent – I dare you to find somebody that doesn’t like this!

Barbour for Her EDT is priced from £40.00 for 50ml, and available now at Selfridges.

carven-labsolu-review

And lastly we have Carven L’Absolu – this is another perfect day to day scent. Heavier than the above Barbour fragrance, L’Absolu EDP is floral and intense – yet not too much to put you off wearing in the day time. It’s voluptuous and sensuous, with an element of clean freshness that won’t go un-noticed.

L’Absolu opens with top notes of fresh Italian Green Mandarin Essence, combined with sensual Madagascan Ylang Ylang Essence. L’Absolu then moves into intense middles notes of Egyptian Absolute Jasmine, emphasised by beautiful Tuberose and Iris. The base comprises of rich oriental, notes, enhanced by Patchouli, Sandalwood and Spanish Absolute Cistus.

Carven L’Absolu EDP is from £42.00 for 30ml and available now at John Lewis.

spring-perfumes

So there we have it, what a gorgeous selection hey? I really can’t choose my favourite out of these scents! I’d love to hear if you have any of these? And what your favourite perfume is at the moment?

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

House of Fraser have very kindly sent me a few of these gorgeous products to try out. I’ve given a brief overview of them below, and full reviews will be coming up shortly –

YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint in BD10 – You can probably guess this by the name, but YSL have taken the technology used in their cult Touche Eclat highlighter, and incorporated it into their latest foundation. The lightweight fluid of Touche Eclat Le Teint aims to illuminate the complexion with its magic light infused formula, whilst erasing imperfections, leaving skin looking natural, radiant and perfected.

YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch in Shade 1 Rose lumiere – Would you believe it if I said touché Eclat has been around for 20 years now? Twenty years!! Most of you will know what Touche Eclat is, so I’ll only touch on this one briefly (See what I did there?) This is the gold clicky pen of dreams, is brightens, highlights, and adds luminosity to your complexion – definitely a must have!

NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint Foundation in shade Groenland – This is a rather fabulous sounding oil-free matte foundation which offers SPF30 protection with a soft velvet-matte finish. The formula contains NARS’ innovative Velvet Illusion Complex to instantly transform the look of skin, creating an immediate soft-focus effect that helps to blur imperfections and minimise the look of pores.

Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream 15ml – This sounds exactly what I could do with right now, a cream to ‘pep up’ my ever puffy and dark-circled eye area. You just use twice a day to hydrate, brighten, and generally perk up your under-eyes, leaving you feeling refreshed, and looking wide awake.

Estee Lauder Revitalising Supreme Global Anti-Aging Cream – This is a high-performance and multi-action creme to help significantly reduce the appearance of the signs of ageing, including lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, dullness and dehydration. This products aims to instantly give skin a smoother, clearer, more radiant appearance.

Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Masque – This is an invigorating, energising and exfoliating mask, perfect for targeting a dull and fatigued complexion, giving skin a natural and healthy appearance – I really think I’m going to love this! It’s formulated with cranberry & turmeric to even the skin tone, while crushed cranberry seeds gently exfoliate for smoother, brighter, illuminated-looking skin.

I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of these products? Or if you’re hoping to pick any up in the Beauty Event?

Three Fragrances Guaranteed to be Loved this Christmas

Posted on December 24, 2015

three-fragrances-for-christmas

Hi Guys!

Happy Christmas Eve! The big day is almost upon us, and today is literally your absolute final chance for picking up some last minute gifts. Personally, I think you can’t go wrong with fragrance – well you can go wrong, but fragrance in itself always makes a fantastic present.

The question is though, would she prefer an oud? Or is she more floral? Or maybe fruity? Is she a fan of tuberose? (I am!) Or musk or leather? The fact is that buying fragrance is hard. Scent is such a personal thing, it’s difficult to get it right.

ysl-flowerbomb-jpg

I love nothing more that trying out weird and wonderful perfumes, the more niche the better, I just enjoy the experience. But if you’re looking for a fail-safe fragrance this Christmas, I’ve put together three perfumes that I personally have and love. These are all off the shelf, reasonably priced and very popular. I haven’t met a person that didn’t like them –

christmas-perfumes

Starting with Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, this was one of my first ‘grown up’ fragrances. I remember checking this out in store many many years ago and I was instantly captivated. It’s an intense, sensual feminine scent, yet easy to wear. Classique has top notes of rose and rum essence, heart notes of vanilla orchid and daffodil and base notes of sweet amber, sandalwood absolute, tonka bean and velvety bourbon vanilla. This is probably one of the most distinctive off-the-shelf fragrances you’ll find.

Next is Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb, not a new fragrance by any means, but new to my personal fragrance wardrobe. I couldn’t wait to try Flowerbomb out. I’ve been using V&R’s Bonbon for a while now as my go to day to day fragrance, so I really had high hopes for Flowerbomb – and I wasn’t disappointed. Flowerbomb contains top notes of tea and bergamot, middle notes of sambac jasmine, orchid, freesia, and rose, with a base note of patchouli. It’s a beautifully soft and sweet floral scent, it’s a pretty yet sophisticated fragrance, that’s right up there with Bonbon now as one of my daily favourites.

And lastly, the newest of the bunch, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium. I haven’t tried the original Opium fragrance, but I picked up Black Opium about a year or so ago when it first launched, and it’s just such a stunning fragrance so I wanted to include it today. Black Opium is warm and sweet, floral and fruity yet definitely intense and glamourous. An obvious evening scent, it oozes confidence and sensuality. Black Opium has top notes of pink pepper and orange blossom, mid notes of jasmine and coffee, and base notes of vanilla, patchouli and cedarwood.

I also wanted to use this opportunity to let you know that House of Fraser have a fantastic new offer coming up. Starting midday today and ending on 3rd Jan 2016, they will be bringing you a different beauty offer every day! Starting with 10% off all Mascaras (24th – 26th December) there will be amazing new deals coming up every day, including Eye Palettes, Serums, Moisturisers and much more. Make sure you keep an eye on the site to see which deals are on!

YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer & Beauty Confidential at House of Fraser

Posted on April 4, 2015

ysl-touche-eclat-blur-primer-review-

Hi Guys!

It’s nearly Easter and I officially have no Eggs. Not chocolate, nothing. Slightly off the point I know but all I can think of while I’m writing this is that I NEED chocolate – only something small though as I’m trying to be good, of course. So I’m about to go out and raid the Tesco Easter aisle – but before I do I thought I’d let you know about a fantastic offer House of Fraser has just started, and tell you all about the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer.

ysl-blur-primer-review

Ok so this is my first YSL beauty product in what feels like forever. Well actually since last August when I purchased the Fusion Ink Foundation which I adore. The Touché Éclat Blur Primer looks really interesting, it’s a clear silicone based primer, with tiny gold particles suspended in it. It’s just beautiful to look at, but I also don’t want to end up with a sparkly face. So let’s see how it performs…

ysl-primer-review

This is what YSL has to say – ‘Yves Saint Laurent`s Touché Éclat Blur Primer is a light-infused primer that evens and smooth`s pores and fine lines helping your make-up last longer. This new generation primer combines an advanced technology to create an ideal canvas. The magic light of Touché Éclat in a transparent gel, free of dulling opaque filler, allows light to diffuse through optimally. A perfect complexion instantly illuminated, pores are visibly diminished, skin texture is smoothed and skin luminosity is boosted.’

ysl-primer-gold-particles

The particles are super super tiny, this is the best shot I could get of them. But surprisingly even thought they’re suspended throughout the bottle, this does not translate to a sparkly face at all, Yay!

ysl-blur-primer-swatch

I’ve rubbed the product into my hand just so you can see how non sparkly it is. You can hardly see any of the particles, and can only just catch some of them in the right light. I’m wearing it now and I can tell you underneath foundation they are pretty much non detectable, but you are left with a more illuminated complexion. I’m really glad because this is definitely a fantastic primer. I’ve currently been using BD Trade Secrets Primer which is great, but this one easily tops it. The YSL Blur Primer just feels so much more luxurious – of course it is more expensive (£29.50) but definitely worth it in my opinion. It has such a light texture that you don’t feel like you’re wearing a primer, it doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on the skin like some primers do. I haven’t had it on very long so I’ll report back later with my thoughts on if it’s helped my makeup last longer. I can tell you that it’s worked wonders on disguising my enlarged pores and left my skin with a lovely smooth finish.

TsCsBeauty_Confidential

And now onto the offer I mentioned! House of Fraser have just started their latest Beauty Confidential promotion, where they’re giving you £10 off one your your favourite beauty products, when you buy one of theirs. It’s valid on 30 of their most popular products (including this YSL primer) and the offer will run from 02/04/15 – 19/04/15.

I hope you enjoyed my post! I’d love to hear what your favourite YSL product is? xxx

My Top Beauty Products of 2014

Posted on December 30, 2014

beauty-favourites-2014

Hi Guys!

It’s time again for the yearly round of up all things beauty! So I’ve pulled together all the stand out items from 2014 and put them in one handy post for you. There were actually SO many great products this year, it was really hard to keep the list down to a sensible number, I managed to cut it down to a fairly reasonable 14 items though, and I’ve included a quick paragraph about each product and links to my individual reviews if you want to read into them further. Enjoy!

1. Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette in The Dolce Vita. This was my first Charlotte Tilbury eye product and it’s just the most beautiful palette I’ve ever seen. The shades are stunning both in colour and texture, and they apply like a dream! I now have the Supermodel set too which I’ll be reviewing shortly so keep your eyes peeled for that!

2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. This palette contains the softest, most finely milled pressed powders I think I’ve ever come across. I use this palette to highlight and give an all over glow which really makes the skin look lit from within. This was an expensive product but in my opinion it’s definitely worth every penny.

3. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I’d been itching to get my hand on this for a while, and when I finally did, I wasn’t disappointed. The Chocolate Bar palette contains enough shadows to create a multitude of looks, from day to night, and everything in between. Again it’s not cheap, but I’d highly recommend it.

4. Super Facialist Tea Flower Purifying Cleansing Wash. This unassuming budget cleanser has actually been my go-to cleansing product for quite a while. I’m now on my second one and I love how it gives my skin a lovely matte finish, without drying at all, and it also noticeably reduced pores!

5. Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly. Along with their Moisture Booster Serum, Hydraluron products have literally saved my skin this year. I apply this regularly to my face, which just drinks it up leaving my skin feeling fresh and hydrated all day.

6. YSL Fusion Ink Foundation. I feel that this foundation really was a breakthrough product in 2014, it has such an unusual ink-like consistency that really is a joy to apply and wear. I can’t wait to see what else YSL has up their sleeves for 2015!

7. YSL Black Opium EDP. Black Opium has to be one of my favourite fragrances from 2014. As soon as I read reviews on it I knew I had to try it, and I’m so glad I did. This is now one of my go-to fragrances that I wear on a regular basis.

8. Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Liqueur. Sleek are a fantastic budget brand, and this lipstick has not left my makeup bag since I received it (actually it’s my second one) It’s the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade. It’s creamy and doesn’t dry at all, and it’s under a fiver too!

9. NARS Audacious Lipsticks. I’m in love with the Audacious formula. I now have four lipsticks from this collection and I love them all. The colour payoff is amazing, and they’re lovely to wear too. They’re pretty expensive at £24 each but more than worth it in my book.

10. Glo & Ray Shimmer Shimmer Lipsticks. Glo & Ray have really made a big impact on me since I discovered the brand earlier this year. If you’re a regular reader you’ll probably have noticed I always rave about their products! Their Shimmer Shimmer lipsticks really are fantastic value for money – they have amazing quality whilst being cheaper than MAC, so these are definitely a winner for me!

11. Anastasia Beverley Hills Contour Kit. I’ve had the Anastasia Contour Kit for a while but haven’t actually got around to reviewing it yet. It’s not cheap but it really is a fantastically handy palette – including six shades it has everything you need to contour your face to Kardashian perfection.

12. Bourjois 1 Seconde Mascara. I’m a big fan of Bourjois products and as soon as I tried their 1 Seconde mascara it became my go-to mascara of choice. I have super short lashes and this product really does thicken and lengthen better than any mascara I’ve tried yet.

13. Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. You knew the Melted Lipsticks had to be in here! They are SO amazing. I now own three full sized, and the mini set of four. I’ve just seen that Too faced have released some new shades too, so as soon as they’re available at Sephora I’m going to snap them up!

14. Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliners. I’m the bigghest eyeliner fan ever, and whichever brand I try, I always find myself going back to Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeiners. They’re affordable, I can buy them in the small town where I live, and they come in a massive rage of colours – amazing!

I’d love to hear which products you loved in 2014?

I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx
