Sleek Pout Paint in Pinkini Review

Hi Guys!

Today I’m reviewing a product that I’ve had for a while, it’s one of those ones that I bought on a whim when I was in Superdrug one day because I saw it and just loved the colour! Anything that’s bright, loud, sparkly or shiny, I’m there like a magpie! This is the most vivid magenta lip product and just jumped out at me.

Sleek Pout Paint in Pinkini is a gorgeous hot pink Pout Paint. A ‘Pout Paint’ being a kind of lip stain slash gloss with really intense pigmentation.

Look at the colour! It’s amazing!! I didn’t do any research on this product before buying it, so I had no idea what it would be like. When I first tried it I was so surprised at how highly pigmented it was, it really reminds me of OCC Lip Tars.

Now I do love this product, I really do, did I mention the colour? (sorry!) and the price? It’s only £4.99, but, as you can see on the above picture, it does feather around the edges of the lips. I think this is the only downside. Ideally I would try this again with either a bright pink or clear lip pencil just to see if it makes a difference but unfortunately I don’t own either of these!

At £4.99 the Pout Paints are less than half the price of a £12 OCC Lip tar, with the colour being just as intense, I think they’re definitely worth the price!

I’d love to hear if you’ve tried Pout Paints and if you had this feathering problem and overcome it? xxx

I bought a few Sleek pout paints a while back and while the colours are awesome to mix and play with – I find the smell so off putting. Mine smell like mouldy oranges – I think I might have got a bad batch but I’m kinda not willing to buy any again to test out the theory.

Pinkini looks lovely on you though 🙂
