Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette | Review

hourglass ambient lighting palette

Hi Guys!

I have been itching to get my grubby little mitts on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette ever since I saw it was released last year. It appears I was a bit slow off the mark and it sold out everywhere in about three seconds. I then heard on the grapevine it was being re-released this May at Space NK, so I kept an eye on the site since the beginning of May, then suddenly there it was, available for pre-order! 😀 Happy days! It was £55 which really is pretty expensive, but in my opinion it was definitely money well spent…

This palette is exactly what I was looking for, it has three shades of highlighter –

Dim Light – A neutral peach beige powder that blurs imperfections and highlights the complexion.

Incandescent Light – An opalescent pearl powder that brightens the complexion with a celestial glow.

Radiant Light – A sun-kissed golden beige powder that enhances the complexion with believable, subtle warmth.

The powder is so silky smooth and buttery soft, it’s a pleasure to use. I literally have no negative comments at all about this product. I’ve used it a couple of times now and the powder is unbelievable, it just melts into the skin and makes you glow like a goddess! I love all my Hourglass products so I’m really glad this lives up to the standard of the others and also lives up to the hype!

I’m afraid I only have a hand swatch for you at the moment, I’m going to use these powders in a look shortly so I can really show you how gorgeous they are, just as soon as I’ve cleaned out my spare room and created my blogging mecca I’ll be on it!

I hope you enjoyed my review xxx

I bought this and unfortunately one of the powders fell straight out of the pan! The powders themselves are so beautiful though – so lightweight and natural on the skin! xx

This looks beautiful, can’t wait to see it on! I will never be able to justify £55 on it but I’m happy to admire it from afar 🙂
