Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Review and Swatches!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Review and Swatches!

Hi Guys!

I’m really excited to have gotten my mitts on a Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, yay! It’s one of the ones that was accidentally released early, and now it’s all mine! I know everyone’s dying to try this out so I feel very priveliged and excited to share my review with you 🙂

As you probably know, the latest palette is full of rose-hued neutral shadows, in matte, pearl, shimmer and metallic finishes, ranging from a pale neutral pink to a sparkly matte black. These colours are all brand new shades from Urban Decay, and if you love rose gold like I do, I think they’ll be right up your street!

So from the beginning, the palette comes in this lovely box, with the Naked 3 logo in gold.

The back of the box gives you a bit more detail about the shadows –

The Naked 3 Palette also includes a double-ended shadow/blending brush and eyeshadow primer potion samples including one each of the four formulas (original, Sin, Eden and Anti-Aging) Each sample holds a week’s worth of primer so it’s awesome freebie!

And this is what’s inside! 12 gorgeous rose-hued shadows –

  • Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin)
  • Dust (pale metallic pink shimmer w/iridescent micro-glitter)
  • Burnout (light pinky-peach satin)
  • Limit (light dusty rose matte)
  • Buzz (metallic rose shimmer w/silver micro-glitter)
  • Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal micro-sparkle)
  • Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte)
  • Liar (medium metallic mauve shimmer)
  • Factory (pinky-brown satin)
  • Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift)
  • Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin) and
  • Blackheart (smokyblack matte w/rosy red micro-sparkle)

As you can see this is a great range of rose-tinted neutrals, with a good mix of finishes so you can create endless looks! My favourite has to be Blackheart, I love the rose pink sparkles!

As expected, the shadows were fabulous to use, the pigment is very fine and it blends excellently.

urban decay naked review

I actually love this palette! I own the Naked Basics (which I used every day) and the Naked 2 which I use occasionally, but this is definitely my new favourite! I can’t wait to try this out for a night out!

I’ve heard on the grapevine that the Naked 3 Palette should be released in the UK around mid December, so only a few more weeks to go!

I hope you enjoyed my review 🙂 xxx

Great review lovely! very thorough and lots of pictures, exactly what I love 🙂 I have to sayyyyy though that I think this palette is a little too “pinky” for me! Or maybe it’s because i’ve been rather taken by the Clarins palette this year…. 🙂 Thanks for tweeting me your link!

The colors are without a doubt gorgeous, however I won’t be the first to purchase this as I don’t LOVE pink/rose hued colors, don’t go too well with my skin;) I’d rather treat myself with one of the other palettes 🙂 x

You lucky lady! 🙂 This is so nice – definitely my favourite one! I’ve only just got the first Naked palette, but this is really pretty! I love the peach/rosy tones to this one! And because it’s different to Naked, I think I can just about justify adding it to my collection when it’s released… 😉
