Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge Eau De Parfum

Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge Eau De Parfum

Hey Guys!

As you may know or may not know, my absolute favourite perfume ever is Black Orchid by Tom Ford, I’ve been wearing it for a few years now and I’ve found plenty of scents I love, but none quite as much. I recently visited the new Tom Ford counter in Jarrolds Norwich and had a chance to try out Tom Ford’s Private Blend Collection.

tom ford jasmin rougeI’ve never had a chance to sample the Private Blends before, as they are only available online or at Tom Ford counters, and my nearest counter was previously in London which is way quite a way to go just to try a perfume! So I was so excited when the new Tom Ford counter recently opened in Jarrolds Norwich! If you’re not familiar with Private Blends, they are a unique collection of scents, I’d definitely describe them as ‘marmite’ perfumes; you’ll either love them or hate them. Some can seem quite strong and over powering, some seem quite odd, and have unusual notes and are definitely an aquired taste. Others though, are simply fabulous 🙂

tom ford perfumeTom Ford has gradually added to the original collection of 12 Private Blends, and after trying out all the scents, surprisingly I wasn’t actually that keen on most of them, but I completely fell in love with Jasmin Rouge which was added to the collection in 2011 along with the launch of Tom Ford makeup. The sales assistant described it as ‘Jessica Rabbit in a bottle’ and it really is!

Described as ‘Voluptuous. Sensuous. Audacious. Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge is a voluptuous, saturated, spiced floral. An unexpected blend of precious sambac jasmine sepals absolute, an ingredient never used before in perfumery with dusky clary sage and rich spices, it unveils a new facet of jasmine’s erotic decadence. Jasmin Rouge is as audacious as lacquered red lips. Its deep red bottle evokes lush and hedonistic glamour.’

How amazing does that sound!?

I am completely in love with this, and I’ve started wearing it every day, oops! It’s pretty expensive so I really should save it for special occasions only!! Have you tried Tom Ford’s Private Blends?

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

I have this and love it for those days when I feel like a proper grown up. My boyfriend (bless him) picked up one of the free London magazines and was reading a feature about signature scents (I’d previously said I wanted to find one) and the feature had a little yes/no flowchart quiz. He answered for me and found Jasmin Rouge. So thoughtful, it is pricey though.

This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes – it’s so rich and decadent and gorgeous. If I had to wear just one perfume for the rest of my life – this would be the one :o) Xx
