Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows!

Hi Guys!

One of my new favourite products this summer has to be Maybelline’s Color Tattoo Eyeshadows. Now I know these aren’t new products at all, but I’ve only just discovered them! I was given the lovely On and On Bronze to try out a while ago and I have to say it’s not something I would have chosen myself as I’m just not a big fan of cream products. But I absolutely love it! You’ve probably heard me mention it quite a few times over the last few months! 🙂 I’ve since collected three more shades courtesy of Chemist Direct and I really can’t get enough of them!

These little pots of goodness are so easy to use – I’d recommend using your finger for application, you just smooth the gel-cream formula over the eye lid and Bob’s your uncle! These shadows will stay put all day, and unlike a powder, you don’t have to worry about fallout or that dustiness you sometimes get with powder shadows. The only thing I will say about these is the pots are a bit of a pain in the butt to stick your finger in if you’ve got long nails, but that is literally my only complaint!

Below clockwise starting from top left – On and On Bronze, Eternal Gold, Permanent Taupe, Immortal Charcoal.

On and On Bronze is a gorgeous high shimmer warm golden bronze, there’s no sparle or glitter at all, this is just full on shimmer! You can see where I’ve used On and On Bronze in a look here 🙂

Eternal Gold is a bright yellow gold with a high shimmer finish. Again no sparkles here! I’d recommend using On and On Bronze over the lid and Eternal Gold in the inner corners of the eye as a highlight. These two colours are also fantastic for those with blue eyes!

Permanent Taupe is a lovely warm brown / taupe colour. Id say this is exactly between brown and grey, and it’s the only matte finish Color Tattoo I have. I personally find this one slightly harder to wear and prefer to use it as a base for other shadows.

Immortal Charcoal is a true cool toned charcoal grey with a high shimmer finish. This is perfect for shimmery smokey eye look.

So there we have it, I really can’t recommend the Color Tattoo’s enough, they come in a large range of shades and are available for just £4.99 each from Chemist Direct.

I’d love to hear if you have any Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows? I hope you enjoyed my review xxx

I only have one Colour Tattoo in Rose Gold and its the perfect base for the Naked 3 palette. I rarely use it but when I do, I realise just how good they are as a primer. Apparently in the USA, they have a new collection coming out – the leather collection!

Yes I did hear about that, I’m not sure I like the idea of a leather finish though!? xx
