Well, I was rather a happy chappy the other day when Mr Postman delivered a large and unexpected parcel. Inside was the most amazing package of Simple Skincare and Sleek Makeup products! Talk about Christmas coming early! WOW! Simple and Sleek MakeUp have teamed up to bring you a fabulous guide to glowing skin – they are offering an in-store beauty experience in selected Superdrug stores where you can have the opportunity to speak to expert beauty advisors who will take you on a journey to discover the right Simple Skincare routine for healthy, happy skin, and also how to perfect Sleek’s fabulous ‘no makeup’ look.
I’ve always been a fan of Simple, and they were actually the first skincare brand I ever used due to my sensitive skin 🙂 Here’s a quick rundown of their super easy skincare regime…
1. Cleanse with Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion or Simple Kind To Skin Wipes. Apply the lotion with cotton pads and gently cleanse with upward and outward movements.
2. Polish with Simple Soothing Toner. Use toner after cleansing, it’s ingredients act as a protein shake for your skin so that it can retrieve it’s natural glow.
3. Prep with Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. Then Moisturise to protect and sweet almond essence enhance your skins natural glow.
(I thought I’d just mention that Superdrug have some great offers on Simple Skincare at the moment so make sure you take a look!)
And here are all the amazing Sleek products that complement the skin routine, to create Sleek Makeup’s ‘no makeup’ look…
Bare Skin Foundation, £8.99
Included in the kit was a foundation in Bamboo. I also have Barley which is the lighter colour here and it’s actually the spot on colour match for my skin tone, but I found that mixing a tiny bit of Bamboo in really warms the colour up. Below I’ve started with Barley on the left side of my hand and gradually blended it into Bamboo so you can see what they look like mixed together.
Brow Kit, £8.49
Sleek have also included a fab little brow kit in fair, which is perfect for lighter toned girls. It includes a cream and a powder, two brushes and a tiny pair of tweezers.
i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Au Naturel, £7.99
The Au Naturel i-Divine palette has jumped straight to the top of my must-have makeup list, this is now a staple in my makeup bag! It has all the shades you need for a natural day look, as well as a darker evening look, in a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes.
Face Form in Light, £9.99
I’m also in love with this Face Form in Light. This palette is all you need for contouring, highlighting and blush, all in one handy compact. The blush shade is so pretty too!
And lastly True Colour Lipstick in Liqueur, which is the perfect every day nude pink, it’s a ‘like my lips bit better’ shade. The formula is creamy and long lasting, and this is definitely another daily makeup bag addition for me.
I have to say I really am so impressed with all of these products, I love that all of the products used in Sleek’s ‘no makeup’ look come in a massive variety of shades to suit all skin tones, and the products I have can be adapted to however you like to suit your own preferences. I’ll be putting a look together shortly using all of these products!
I’d love to hear if you’ve used any Sleek Makeup? I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx
