After recently discovering Azuni London it’s fast becoming one of my favourite jewellery sites. I have the gorgeous Etrusca Necklace – it’s a fabulously intricately constructed pendant, made in 24k gold plate. A stunning 6mm green onyx stone dangles in the centre of an open circle featuring delicate granulation detailing, and the pretty pendant is hung from a delicate gold plated chain. I love this necklace so much, it’s so unusual!
If you haven’t hear of Azuni London, the company was created by Ashley Marshall, who uses techniques such as hand texturing, beading, engraving and oxidising to add a unique edge to his designs with many pieces brought to life with delicate semi precious stones. Ashley gathers his inspiration from many different sources and interprets it into eclectic, individual pieces of jewellery.
There is also a story behind every Azuni collection. The beautifully hand textured Luna pieces have been delicately created to resemble the moon’s surface, whilst the passionate Love Twist range is reminiscent of the tattoos worn by sailors leaving their loved ones to go off to sea. From achingly romantic, via edgy, retro and bohemian cool, there is an effortlessly stylish Azuni collection to suit any mood.
