It’s April! Already. You know they say time goes quicker as you get older, well it actually does. This year is going too fast, and I’m not sure I like it! Anyway, I’ve got a fantastic new nail polish to show you today, from a brand called Jica. I hadn’t actually heard of Jica before, so I checked them out and they stock quite a few interesting looking brands that I haven’t heard of either, so definitely take a look at their site if you’re on the hunt for something new and unusual to add to your beauty stash. They kindly sent me over a sweet little box full of easter treats – I’m trying to be good when it comes to chocolate but surely a teeny tiny Lindt bunny and a couple of mini eggs won’t hurt?? 😉
Apart from the choccies, an easter chick and cute little card, my box also contained the INM Out the Door Nail Lacquer in Granite (I can’t see this on their site so I’ve no idea what the price is I’m afraid) and the Looks Wet Ultra High Gloss Top Coat (£5.60)
Ok so I know that grey isn’t the most Eastery shade ever, but it is a kind of pastel shade, so it still counts in my books! I absolutely love this colour; firstly grey is neutral so it pretty much goes with anything, and this pale shade suits my fair skin too, so I’m super happy with the outcome. I can see this being a shade I’ll go back to time and time again.
It took two coats for full opacity, and when they had dried I added the Looks Wet top coat to see if my nails would actually turn out so glossy they looked wet. Well again I was impressed, the top coat gave a high shine finish and it dried surprisingly quickly too which is always a bonus – there’s nothing like flapping your hands around for an hour to only find out your polish still hasn’t dried properly!
So what do you think? I’m loving all shades of grey (no pun intended) and griege at the moment so this is definitely a winner for me!
I’ve also been told that I could be in the chance of winning a hamper if my lovely readers favourite & RT on Twitter, and like on Instagram, pretty please? – just look out for my post tagged #JicaEaster and if you’re not following me already I’m @tsncblog on Twitter and @tsncblog on Instagram xxx
