I feel like I’m finally getting back into the swing of things now the school holidays are over, and I can’t wait to crack on with blogging – I have so many gorgeous things to share with you in the coming weeks!
Today though, I have another fabulous fragrance – this is Acqua di Parma’s Peonia Nobile…
I have to start by telling you I’ve completely fallen head over heels for this scent! Peonia Nobile is Acqua di Parma’s latest addition to their Nobile collection of fragrances, which focuses on the natural beauty of different flowers. I’m so pleased Acqua di Parma have chosen Peony as their latest addition to the range – this scent really is everything I look for in a summer floral.
This exalted bloom is hailed as a flower of the gods, but the magical trail from its elegant scent is no myth. Idealised with a sensuous woman in mind, the exotic blend of scintillating raspberry and glowing amber are the perfect match for her radiant aura. Beaming with exuberance, her magnetic nature is accentuated by this powerful and spontaneous fragrance.
Starting from the top, Peonia Nobile opens with notes of black pepper and raspberry – the top notes have a distinct citrusy sharpness, which is actually rather pleasant. The scent is fresh and vibrant on first application, and also slightly fruity. The heart of the fragrance contains a multitude of floral notes, combining Peony, Geranium, Turkish Rose and Freeshia to give all the nuanced tones of bunch of freshly cut flowers. This leads on to a base of amber and patchouli which is both velvety and sweet, giving the fragrance warmth and depth.
- Top Notes: Black Pepper and Raspberry.
- Heart Notes: Peony, Geranium, Turkish Rose and Freeshia.
- Base Notes: Amber and Patchouli.
Peonia Nobile really is a beautifully refined interpretation of the peony flower that’s both understated and easy to wear, yet captivating. if you’re looking for a delicate, pretty floral scent this summer, I highly recommend you add this to your wish list.
Acqua di Parma Peonia Nobile is £76.00 for 50ml at House of Fraser.
I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
