Finally, here’s the first of my Christmas Gift Guides! I’m kicking things off today with fragrance gift ideas for the men in your life. I’ve included a selection of fabulous fragrances here that anyone would be thrilled to find under their tree on Christmas morning – enjoy!Moschino Toy Boy EDP is a spicy, woody fragrance created by perfumer Yann Vasnier. It’s the only ‘male’ scent in the Toy Boy collection, and would make a fantastic gift for fans of Moschino as a brand, or anyone that has a fun, quirky side.

Toy Boy is a bold yet playful scent, with refreshing top notes of Italian bergamot and juicy pear, as well as clove, nutmeg and elemi to give the opening a hit of contrasting warmth. The heart includes floral notes of magnolia, rose and flax blossom blended with cashmeran. Haitian vetiver, ambermax and sylkolide musk complete the fragrance at the base.

Moschino Toy Boy is in my opinion quite a unisex scent. It’s fresh and bright, with intense peppery rose – it’s a must try!

On a similar fun-loving theme, Paco Rabanne Phantom EDT is also presented in a super quirky bottle that I think is just fabulous!

Phantom is an aromatic woody scent, with an all-round feel-good vibe. The fragrance itself opens up with creamy lavender, leading to heart notes of energising Italian Lemon and woody Madagascan vanilla, enhanced by a vetiver at the base. The team behind the fragrance utilised cutting-edge technology to select ingredients specifically to make the wearer feel energised and confident. As well as this, the bottle is also refillable and contains a microchip which you can link to your phone, allowing you to unlock special content such as interactive filters, playlists and more.

I also had to include the latest masculine scent form Jean Paul Gaultier – Scandal Pour Homme EDT.

Scandal Pour Homme is a warm woody fragrance with contrasting accords of aromatic herbs and warm, sticky caramel. The scent opens with fresh notes of energising clary sage and bright mandarin, giving way to the sweet caramel heart, enhanced with addictive leather. The base of vetiver, cedar and Tonka round the fragrance off with a seductive, smoky finish.

This would be perfect for fans of sweet, creamy scents – my husband loves this one! It’s also handy to know Scandal Pour Homme has an eco-friendly, refillable bottle design too.

Tom Ford Ombre Leather EDP is a floral leather scent that’s definitely unisex – you might buy this for your man, but don’t be surprised if you want to keep it for yourself!

Inspired by the desert heart of the west wrapped in leather, Ombre Leather blends floral leather and cool spices to create a fantastic true-to-life leather fragrance. Much like a well-loved leather jacket, Ombre Leather EDP will hug you in all the right places – this really does give off leather jacket / handbag vibes, in absolutely the best way possible. If you’re a fan of Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, this is a must try.

And lastly YSL Y Le Parfum. This is the new bold and woody take on the original Y male fragrance, created by Dominique Ropion.

YSL Y Le Parfum is a smooth and intense woody fougère combining vibrant notes of French lavender with geranium and American black cedarwood, for a fresh and invigorating aroma.

Y Le Parfum is a striking clean, modern scent that’s definitely a crowd pleaser. It’s classy and rich, and compared to the original Y Eau de Parfum, Y Le Parfum is pretty similar so you might not need both, but the new scent is more intense and the better of the two in my opinion.
