New From DKNY: Be Desired EDP

New From DKNY: Be Desired EDP

Hi Guys!

I was so excited to be invited along to the launch of DKNY’s latest fragrance, Be Desired last week. I don’t want to go too much into the party details, but it was held in a beautiful rooftop garden, with the new fragrance dotted throughout the space so everyone could try it out – oh and they had real flamingos too, which I was amazed by. It wasn’t exactly your bog standard party…

Anyway, Be Desired is the latest addition to DKNY’s ‘Be Delicious’ range of fragrances – which I can’t believe launched over ten years ago now!

Be Desired includes top notes of orange, blackcurrant, violet leaf and iced grapefruit, heart notes of acacia flower, cassis absolute, Asian jasmine and Turkish rose, and base notes of Cedar, cashmere and amber wood. On initial spritz the fragrance is quite green – and a bit sharp (or so I originally thought) I was on the fence at first, but within moments it settles down to a beautiful fruity yet floral scent, definitely reminiscent of the original Be Delicious fragrance, but with a modern twist.

I’ve worn it a few times since the event and I actually love this fragrance now! It’s such an uplifting, fresh fragrance, it’s perfect for every day wear.

Be Desired features a new floral element, the lush and creamy sensual tones are infused with a green floral direction. The scent instantly draws you in with a sparkle of orange oil combined with tart blackcurrant and dewy violet leaves. Iced grapefruit teases the senses with a vivacious energy. Exotic elements bring a succulent texture to the bouquet of jasmine samba and turkish rose. Precious woody notes of cedarwood and vibrant amber wood create an unforgettable essence of the new fragrance.

DKNY Be Desired is £69 for 100ml, £50 for 50ml and £37 for 30ml. It will be available nationwide from 14th October 2015.

I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx
