Hi Guys!

I just came across these brand new Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks and I thought they looked fantastic! They’re currently only available on Sephora VIB / VIB Rouge – BUT, though they look pretty awesome, and the packaging looks lovely too, click on the link and take a look at the Sephora reviews at the bottom of the page… there’s lot’s of 1 stars in there which doesn’t look good…

‘Give lips the staying power of a stain and the intense color of a liquid lipstick in one long-wear ultra-matte formula. It’s formulated with exclusive technology that leaves the lipstick melted for the most high-impact color possible. It’s infused with antioxidant-rich avocado oil and vitamin E to moisturize, while hyaluronic filling spheres smooth the look of lip lines. It comfortably coats lips with a wash of intense, high-impact, super rich, saturated color that lasts for hours.’

  • Miso Pretty – Matte soft ballet slipper pink
  • Child Star – Matte soft nude
  • Cool Girl – Matte true nude
  • Queen B – Matte soft mauve
  • It’s Happening – Matte bright magenta
  • Bend and Snap! – Matte deep raspberry
  • Lady Balls – Matte true red
  • Drop Dead Red – Matte deep mulberry

  • Sell Out – Matte soft pinky-brown
  • Feelin’ Myself – Matte soft peachy-pink
  • Mrs. Roper – Matte bright tangerine
  • 1998 – Matte bright bubblegum pink
  • Evil Twin – Matte deep black cherry
  • Unicorn – Matte bright orchid
  • Who’s Zoomin’ Who – Matte deep sapphire
  • Naughty by Nature – Matte deep chocolate

It’s quite disappointing to hear that a brand new range of products that look and sound so good have already received quite a few negative reviews. I’m a big fan of liquid lipsticks though and I still really want to try them out myself to see what they’re like!

What do you think about this? Would negative reviews put you off trying a product?

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Negative reviews always make me step back with new products.. but with make up it is always trial an error. What might not work for other people, can work for us and vice-versa..

The 1 star reviews are all for the fact that people can’t add them to their cart. Not for the quality of the product. I wouldn’t get too worried yet!

I’m not sure if you were looking on the correct page as there are 4x 1 star reviews from people that have used them. They were on sale but Sephora seem to have removed them from sale now for some reason. I really hope they’re not as bad as people are saying! xx

I love anything like this so would definitely give them a try despite their negative reviews. I’ve got quite a lot of Too Faced makeup in my collection and I’ve always found their products to be great 🙂
