Mother’s Day is just around the corner – I’m not sure how, I’m still in January in my mind! If you’re looking for some gift ideas, I have some lovely suggestions to share with you today. My guide is fragrance heavy this year (no surprise there!) but I’ve also included a couple of other gorgeous treats that might catch your eye – enjoy!Let’s kick things off with Zarkoperfume Pink Molecule EDP – I can’t tell you how much I love this fragrance! Pink Molecule is bursting with champagne and juicy fruits, and as soon as I sprayed it I knew exactly what it reminded me of – Dewberry by The Body Shop. If you grew up in the 90’s like I did you’ll probably remember this iconic, and long time discontinued scent. I honestly adore Pink Molecule for this, it really is incredibly similar to how I remember Dewberry – this absolutely is a must try. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my spring / summer go-to scents! Also, it’s worth noting that all Zarkoperfume fragrances are cruelty free, vegan and use recycled packaging.

For something a little different, how about Gres Madame Gres EDP? This affordable oriental floral fragrance has a real vintage feel to it though it’s actually a relatively modern scent from 2013. It starts with juicy citrus notes of grapefruit, pineapple and cardamom, and the heart is a beautiful bouquet of magnolia, white peony and freesia, leading to a dry down of vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli and leather.

Kenzo make some wonderful fragrances, but you can’t go wrong with the original Flower by Kenzo. It’s a beautiful sheer, luminous scent that’s uplifting and easy to wear. Kenzo have launched their classic Flower by Kenzo scent in a beautiful gift set, perfect for Mother’s Day. The Flower by Kenzo Kokeshi Doll Gift Set showcases a 200-year-old Japanese art form – the Kokeshi doll. These dolls are offered as a declaration of friendship or love. Dressed in a stunning floral print kimono, this traditional figurine opens to reveal the iconic Flower By Kenzo Eau de Parfum. I’ve also included the latest launch from Jimmy Choo – Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition 2022. This fragrance is inspired by springtime and the joy of the new season, and it’s such a cheerful, warm sparkling scent – perfect for spring. Blossom Special Edition 2022 opens with sweet, mouth-wateringly juicy fruit notes, and at the heart you’ll find a blooming exotic frangipani flower, leading to a base of warming sandalwood. This fragrance makes me think of laying on a sun lounger sipping the tastiest fruit cocktail I’ve ever had. Gorgeous!

Another brand that should be on your radar for Mother’s Day gifting is Arran Sense of Scotland. They have a large range of beautiful bath and body products of offer, and I have their lovely After The Rain EDP fragrance. After The Rain is inspired by the unique, fresh scent of an Arran garden following a rain storm. This might imply a cool, fresh fragrance, but After The Rain is more of a fresh floral, with notes of rose, musk, citrus, and woods. This perfume would be perfect for those looking for a relaxing, calming scent.

Lancome have also recently launched a brand new serum – the Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F Triple Serum. Promising to smooth, brighten and moisturise the skin, this serum boasts three actives with each formulation working in harmony to address different skin concerns. The first contains hyaluronic acid, to intensely hydrate the skin, the second utilises a blend of vitamin C and niacinamide to help illuminate the skin and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and the third formulation contains ferulic acid, which aims to protect the skin against environmental aggressors. Continuing with skincare, Wishful by Huda beauty also have some lovely products definitely worth checking out. The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub has a glue-like consistency that binds to dead skin cells and easily removes them, to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. It contains papaya and pineapple extracts to help fade pigmentation and maximise clarity, as well as alpha and beta-hydroxy acids to help remove dead cells and congestion. It also helps diminish dark spots, scars, and signs of sun damage, leaving your skin more even-toned with renewed luminosity.You probably know by know I’m a big fan of Kayali fragrances. I’ve included Kayali Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper 25 EDP today because it’s just stunning! Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper is a floral scent with top notes of sweet and spicy pink pepper, bergamot, royal lily and saffron, leading to a floral heart of rose, magnolia and vanilla orchid, which contrasts perfectly with a woody base of patchouli, musk, amber and sandalwood. This is a gorgeously warm and sweet scent with a hint of spice. I’ve just started layering this with Kayali Vanilla 28 – it’s a winning combo!

I’ve also included a couple of Marc Jacob’s latest fragrances that are definitely worth checking out – Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense EDP is a denser version of the original Perfect EDT – it’s beautifully bright, modern, comforting and intense. This rich floral scent opens with creamy night blooming jasmine and daffodil, earthy toasted almonds are found at the heart along with a hit of pink pepper, and sandalwood sesame oil and cashmeran at the base add depth, texture, and personality.

I also have Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Skies Limited Edition EDT – this is part of the new Limited Edition Daisy Skies collection that offers a seasonal twist on the original Daisy scent. Daisy Love Skies is a beautifully refreshing, relaxing and blissful fragrance, inspired by open blue skies and warm rays of sunshine. This is definitely another crowd pleaser – there’s not going to be many people that don’t like this fragrance!

And what would Mother’s Day be without a little jewellery? Olivia Burton is a brand the makes the prettiest watches and jewellery (I still have one of their watches from many moons ago) today though, I have their incredibly pretty Mini Lucky Bee Watch & Bracelet Gift Set – this would make such a beautiful gift this Mother’s Day.
