Aldi have just launched a collection of brand new beauty products for summer, including a duo of new lip oils, set to rival Dior’s luxury Lip Glow Oil collection.

The Lacura Luminous Lip Oil comes in two shades; clear, and cherry. These are obvious dupes for the most popular shades of Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in 000 Universal Clear and 015 Cherry – and Aldi’s version are only £3.99 each!How does the Aldi version compare?

Firstly, the ingredients are very similar, they’re not exactly the same but I’d say at least 75% similar.

In terms of the actual product – well actually Lacura’s lip oils are really good! I’m obsessed with lip oils and have quite a few of them, so compared to Dior, and also compared to others on the market, Lacura are really giving these brands a run for their money!

Compared to Dior, the Lacura Lip Oils are very similar in consistency as well as how they look and feel on the lips. The only real difference is the scent, where Dior’s does smell better, but it’s still only a very faint scent.

The Lacura Luminous Lip Oils are dermatologically tested and cruelty free, and they contain antioxidants and vitamin E to nourish the lips, leaving them feeling moisturised and full of shine.
