The New Wonder Serum – ‘Botox in a Bottle’!

Hi Guys!

I have an interesting skincare product for you today – Beauty Lab’s Relax Neuropeptide Serum, which has been dubbed ‘Botox in a Bottle’! Not that I need botox or anything… 😉 If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to botox, this little bottle should contain all the answers…

So what is it?

“This quick absorbing, high performance moisture matrix serum is a fabulous alternative to muscle relaxant injections and is designed to work at the epidermis level by relaxing the skin thus reducing facial expressions to soften fine lines and wrinkles. Perfect for daily use, results will be seen in about an hour (a film matrix will soften and brighten the skin) and last about 7 to 8 hours when it can be reapplied and longer term results will continue to improve with use.’

So basically this stuff is supposed to be an alternative to muscle relaxant injections such as botox. This is a really big claim! Botox is expensive, and I don’t really fancy shoving needles in my face, so if this can help reduce my every emerging fine lines (currently only on my forehead) then this really is a wonder product! And at £45 a bottle, it would actually be a complete steal!

The product contains –

Hexapeptide 8 – is specifically designed to interfere with a chemical reaction that guides muscle movements to relax them and stop the skin contracting where fine lines and wrinkles most commonly form. Also stimulates your collagen, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles between 50% – 60%.

Acai – with its antioxidant properties.

Collagen R1 – with its anti-ageing/firming properties is a purified, high molecular weight, water soluble protein. It is extracted from Connective tissue of the New Zealand cold-water marine fish ‘hoki’ (Macruronus novaezelandiae).

Liposome Ace – they can contain proteins, peptides or other actives that are important for maintaining the strength and the tone of skin.

So does it work?

Well, this product has very big claims, and a lot to live up to in my opinion. I’ve used this a few times now and I’m happy with the results. I’m not ecstatic but I’m happy! I wouldn’t say I suddenly appeared 16 again (unfortunately) but my complexion definitely looked brighter and less sallow. I only have a few lines starting to form on my forehead at the moment so it was hard to tell if there was any visible difference. Maybe this product would be more effective if I had more lines and wrinkles for it it target! All I know is it did make me look ‘better’ which has got to be a positive result!

I’d love to hear if you’ve tried this product and if it worked for you? xxx

Where can this be purchased? I’m 47 and have started to get crows feet on my eyes. Would love to give this a try.

This sounds like a great product in theory, especially since there’s so much that can go wrong with Botox. Definitely something I’d consider in a few years’ time, and something I’d love to hear about how you get on longer term 🙂
