My Current Day-to-Day Makeup.

may makeup

Hi Guys!

I thought it was about time I showed you my go-to products on a day to day basis. The products I love and use automatically every day. As with most of us, the contents of my day makeup bag does change over time, but these are the products I’m currently using and loving right now!

Sorme BioNatural Blush & Bronze Duo – This is from my February Wantable box. Sorme is a new brand to me, I’d never heard of it before receiving it in my box, and I’m so glad I did! This blush / bronze duo is a great colour for my fair skin, it gives me enough colour to boost my complexion without any sparkle.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette – Ever since I bought it this has been my day to day go to palette, with six neutral matte shades it’s all I need for my day look. It’s the perfect size to fit in may makeup bag too!

Dior Hydra Life BB Cream in Luminous Beige 01 – Now I do love this, it gives great coverage and also manages to brighten and luminize my often dull complexion. I do have to say though it is slightly on the heavy side, this doesn’t usually bother me at all but as the summer begins to heat up I think I’ll need to swap this out for a lighter foundation or tinted moisturiser.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in 02 – This has been one of my favourite concealers for a long time. I originally tried this at my first ever Benefit counter experience, which must have been nearly 10 years ago now – and I’ve been re-purchasing ever since! It matches my skin tone and hides my dark circles excellently.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Brightener 160 – I originally saw this product in one of Heidi Cupcake’s videos, it looked so fantastic on her I had to try it! I ended up purchasing from Ebay as it wasn’t available in the UK at the time, and as far as I’m aware it’s still not available now. (Let me know if I’m wrong though) But I know you can purchase different versions of this concealer currently at Superdrug. I use this on top of my concealer, under eyes and in an upside down triangle shape to highlight.

Barry M Blink Precision Waterproof Eyeliner – I’ve only recently stared using this eyeliner, I’ve always been a fan of pencil eyeliners but thought I’d give the pen style a go and I have to say I completely love this one! The tip is long and flexible, and you don’t have to press very hard at all to get a fantastic fine line.

MUA Pro Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit – What a great purchase this was! At only £3.99 it’s a permanent staple in my makeup bag. It has everything I need for perfect brows on the go!

Benefit They’re Real Mascara – I’ve heard many mixed reviews about this mascara. It appears to be a bit of a ‘marmite’ product, with people either loving or really disliking it. I have pretty short eyelashes and I find this to be fabulous. My friend on the other hand who has very long lashes, found this to be clumpy on her and wasn’t so keen.

MAC Matte Primer – This is another product inspired by a Youtube beauty blogger! This time it was Whatstyleistonickel. Many years ago when MAC products were a long distant dream of mine I saw he recommended this primer, it was one of my first MAC purchases and one of the best! It’s a fantastic mattifying primer that works on all skin types – I have dry skin and love it.

Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie – This is a gorgeous wearable colour for summer, in a creamy and moisturising Lip Butter, it makes my lips feel soft and happy and gives a gorgeous natural colour.

I’d love to hear if you have any of these products and if you love them as much as I do!

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
