What’s New in Luxury Skincare…
18 July, 2019
I have a few brand new luxury skincare treats to share with you today! Let’s start with the Dermalogica Age Bright Clearing Serum (£58.50 at John Bell & Croyden, and Dermalogica)
The Age Bright Clearing Serum is an active two-in-one product, designed to clear the skin, whilst helping prevent further breakouts, and reducing visible signs of ageing. The serum includes Dermalogica’s AGE Bright Complex to help give clearer, brighter skin, Salicylic Acid to reduce breakouts, Phytoactives which hydrate and smooth the skin, and Niacinamide and White Shiitake Mushroom to promote a brighter, more even skin tone.
If you’re looking for a new luxury face oil, the Lumity Natural Anti-Ageing Facial Oil (£60.00 at John Bell & Croyden and Lumity) is definitely worth considering. This anti ageing facial oil contains a blend of 32 botanical oils and extracts, which work together to moisturise, hydrate, restore elasticity, raidance and firmness, and reduce the signs of ageing.
If you fancy a super high end treat for your skin, how about the Romilly Wilde Advanced Supercell Serum (£110.00 at John Bell & Croyden and Romilly Wilde)
The Romilly Wilde Supercell Serum has been designed to promote epidermal regeneration whilst boosting cell function. This nutritionally advanced, supercharged treatment is enriched with the purest form of hyaluronic acid to deliver immediate hydration and comfort to the skin, while leaving the complexion supple and luminous.
Murad also have a couple of new skincare launches – The Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser (£38.00 at Murad) is a gel-to-oil, makeup-removing cleanser that nourishes with prebiotics to balance the skin’s microbiome, for healthier-looking skin. The formula features an ultra-cleansing peptide to melt makeup, dirt and excess oil, while moisturizing emollients hydrate the skin.
And the Prebiotic 3-in-1 MultiMist (£30.00 at Murad) is a peptide-rich, hydrating mist that replenishes the skin (again with prebiotics to balance theskin’s microbiome). The formula features hydrating sugars to moisturize and refresh skin, while a yeast peptide helps lock in hydration.
Another fantastic new product is Clinique ID (£36.00 at Clinique) – I love the idea of Clinique ID, there are 15 combinations available to hydrate your skin whilst treating it to a little something extra, depending on your needs. You simply choose your moisturiser base, then you pick your active cartridge concentrate. You can choose to target wrinkles, fatigue, pores etc. This is the perfect way to completely customise your daily moisturiser to make it work harder for you.
If you’re looking for a moisturiser to also add a hint of colour, the new It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone Moisturiser (£39.00 at IT Cosmetics) could be perfect for you.
The Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone Moisturiser is an intensely hydrating moisturiser infused with rosy tone pigments to give the skin a boost of instant vitality. It also gently exfoliates dull skin and stimulates surface cell renewal to make skin look younger, lifted, and less tired. The formula contains iris root, peony extract, aloe leaf juice, squalane, chickpea extract, lipohydroxy acid and other skin-loving ingredients.
Another new launch from It Cosmetics is the Confidence in a Neck Cream (£42.00 at IT Cosmetics)
This is a quick-absorbing moisturiser has been created to help transform the appearance of the neck, neckline and chest. It aims to firm and smooth the skin, whilst reducing the appearance of horizontal neck lines and improving skin’s elasticity. Featuring fucoidan seaweed extract, shea butter and a Tri-Structural Complex composed of elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid, this firming moisturiser instantly revitalises the look of skin for a supple, smoother appearance.
One of my favourite luxury beauty brands, Rodin, has also recently launched their new Luxury Face Cream (£72.00 at Liberty London)
This super rich cream has a luxuriously thick texture, and promises to leave skin feeling plumped, soothed and hydrated, with a fresh, lasting glow. It has a 95% naturally-derived formula, containing a potent blend of plant oils, super-emollient natural butters and the brand’s signature olio lusso oil complex to provide skin with supreme nourishment with long-term benefits. Of course it also has a gorgeous (yet subtle) scent. This really is a touch of luxury for your skin.
Next up I have the brand new Transformulas Flawless Photoglow (£55.00 at Transformulas)
This innovative multi-tasking treatment cream is described as the ultimate complexion transformer, working to instantly nourish and restore radiance, while correcting imperfections, to give the skin a lit from within glow. PhotoGlow also has a powerful SPF 30+ and is loaded with anti-oxidants to protect against environmental damage. It’s a complete daily treatment to help perfect and protect, leaving skin radiant and healthy looking.
And lastly Dr Irena Eris Aquality Intense Moisturising Youth Cream (£41.00 at John Bell & Croyden and Dr Irena Eris)
This super light moisturiser contains an exciting brand new ingredient, γ PGA which is 5 times more effective as a moisturiser than hyaluronic acid. γ PGA, provides long-lasting moisture with a smoothing effect, all while restoring skin’s tightness. This can be used as both a day and night cream for every skin type, regardless of age.
