Imedeen Derma One 90 Day Challenge Review

When it comes to skincare, I’m up for anything that’s going to make my life easier, anything quick and effective is where I’m at. So you can probably tell that as much as I love skincare, I’m not one for long and drawn out 10 step routine. So when I was contacted by Imedeen to trial their supplements, I jumped at the chance.

If you’re not familiar with Imedeen, their aim is to help women to look and feel their best and support a healthy appearance at every age. They currently offer a range of beauty supplements that are scientifically proven to help reduce visible signs of skin ageing, from within.

Now I don’t know about you, but I take claims like ‘scientifically proven’ very seriously, and I’m happy to say that Imedeen’s products have been put to the test in no less than 10 clinical trials, plus there’s also a number of studies and consumer evaluations across their full range of formulations. It’s always good to know that a brand’s claims are backed up by science! Just to add to this they’ve also received 22 Awards and commendations and they also produce the world’s no. 1 most studied skincare supplement.

Imedeen asked me to choose one of their products for a 90 day trial, and I decided to go with their Derma One supplement. This suitable for age 25+ so it fits me perfectly. I’m 34 and starting to experience a few fine lines around my eyes as well as some more prominent ones on my forehead, and on top of this I’ve also noticed my complexion just isn’t quite as youthful as it once was. Oh and don’t get me started on the grey hairs too, but that’s another story!

Anyway you get the point, the first signs of ageing are literally all over my face, so if Derma One can help ease them at all, then I’ll be happy.

A bit more about Derma One now – the formula includes Imedeen’s signature Marine Complex, as well as zinc and Vitamin C, and it’s designed to help skin look younger and more radiant by helping to maintain the moisture balance in the sub-derma level of the skin’s cells.

In terms of scientific testing, Derma One has also been examined in two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies, an additional 12-month study and a small pilot study. Data from these studies identified significant improvements in the appearance and hydration of skin for women taking Derma One compared with a placebo.

And on to the review! Firstly, the tablets are presented really nicely, the packaging is of high quality, and the tablets themselves are also pretty small and easy to swallow – which is definitely a plus point. I ended up keeping the box in the kitchen next to the kettle, so I’d remember to take them each day.

Imedeen’s original claim was that by taking their products, you would have ‘Radiant skin from within in as little as 90 days’. And I think they’re true to this claim. I must admit my expectations weren’t that high, I don’t mean that to sound negative, my opinion was just how much can a skincare tablet actually do, you know?

I took time to closely scrutinise my face, reviewing my progress throughout the trial, and at the 30 and 60 day points I felt like not much was really happening, but from roughly then on and especially towards the end of the trial, I noticed my skin just generally started to look better, a bit brighter, a bit less tired. I found it hard to pinpoint anything specific, but something was happening! Admittedly the results are subtle, but they are definitely there, and I’m impressed that these tablets really do what they promise to.

So, if you’re looking for something to give your skin an extra boost, I’d definitely recommend you check out Imedeen’s range of beauty supplements.

The Imedeen range of Beauty supplements are available now at Boots and  Imedeen.
