Secretly, in this immense starry hive, the magic comes to life in a whirlwind of glitter and shimmering ribbons.
The bees buzz back and forth against this enchanting gold and white backdrop as they make thousands of Christmas gifts and put the final finishing touches to the creations that they are preparing to deliver across the globe.
Easily the most beautiful advent calendar this year – the Guerlain Hive of Wonders beauty advent calendar really is the height of luxury when it comes to beauty Christmas gifting.
To bring the Hive of Wonders to life, Guerlain commissioned artist Aleksandra Miletić with the task of creating the hive’s decorative illustrations, inspired by the enchanted world of starry Christmas. Known for her intricate drawings, the illustrator has adorned the advent calendar with delicate and elaborate golden details.
Opening the lid of the Hive reveals 25 lift-up boxes, each containing a luxury Gurlain gift. The drawers divulge their secrets one by one as they are opened to reveal a miniature perfume bottle, a skincare or make-up product, a ceramic fragrance ornament, and much more.
The Guerlain hive is also a true keepsake – created with sturdy FSC1 cardboard, it has wooden feet and removable trays, making it a perfect for re-filling and using year after year.
