‘Queen of Silk emerges as a captivating new fragrance for women from The House of Creed embodying the opulent lustre and ethereal softness of silk, a precious fabric treasured since time immemorial for its beauty and delicate touch. This spellbinding Eau de Parfum gently embraces the skin, leaving an enchanted trail in the air that shimmers with luminous energy. Transporting you to the distant lands through which this ancient treasure once journeyed, Queen of Silk weaves together sublime Chinese osmanthus, decadent tuberose and ethereal Javanese patchouli. These heady notes dance over complex cedar, agarwood and smoulderingly soft Madagascan vanilla in a lingering, sensual testament to timeless refinement.’ – Creed.
This stunning new fragrance launch from Creed is inspired by luxurious silk, this precious fabric both strong, yet gentle and soft – Queen of Silk embodies the richness and allure of silk, a symbol of luxury and decadence throughout history.
Queen of Silk opens with a beautiful blend of osmanthus, magnolia and saffron. The opening is big on the osmanthus and saffron notes and instantly feels warm and floral with a strong amber undertone. Soon the heart notes become apparent, with heady tuberose, juicy passion fruit, sweet agarwood and a touch of earthy patchouli. These notes are really well blended to give a floral effect that feels gorgeously thick and creamy. The scent feels elegant, decadent and it really does give the impression of luxurious silks – shimmering and vibrant yet intense and strong. The dry down is also really beautiful – soft, caressing the skin like liquid silk, incense and vanilla are the most noticeable notes to me. The scent trail feels warm, sweet and lightly woody.
